I am running Sx 1 with the Sfp synths and i want to use a external multi effects pedal eg.(wah,distortion)for added effects.And be able to record into back into Sx.Is this possible..
How do i configue this set up ?
The effects pedal has Midi,Xlr mic inputs and 1/4 inch plug ins.
Also have a 16 track analog mixer

Yes you can do this! The trick is what I/O do you have? Are you running just the pulsar's analog outs or do you have ADAT I/O into a digital mixer and so on.
If you are running just the pulsar analog I/O then you could send out of cubase through ASIO source to Pulsar analog dest, route through your outboard gear, back in to Pulsar analog source then through to ASIO dest back into cubase. Routing anything to anything is one of the most powerful features of SFP.
