Hi I am a new Pulsar user using Pulsar 1 in conjunction with emagic Logic 4.1.4 and am not sure which drivers to use in Logic to get them to work together, ASIO or there is EASISCOPE or Pulsar MME. Just a bit confused and dying to get everything up and running. Dont suppose anyone has a basic project I could use to get started with? Any explanations about what ASIO or the wave source/dest modules do would also be valuable! Thanks heaps I know you guys out there are always up for lending a hand.

Firstly, update your Logic to 4.81 (I think this was the last version 4 release, it's so long ago that I can't remember) or preferably 5.51 (last v5 release). 4.14 was pretty flakey compared to later versions. Then when you've done that, use the ASIO drivers.

Also make sure its the Scope ASIO driver (and not the asio directsound one some other apps like to install). If you use ASIO make sure that neither PC/AV nor WAV are checked on teh first driver page.

And the ASIO and Wave source/dest modules represent the drivers within SFP. So if you have selected the ASIO driver in logic, Logic's audio output will "emerge" at the ASIO source module in your Pulsar project, and audio signals you want to route back to logic will have to go to the ASIO dest module.
(you can double-click the modules to set the number of channels).

The Wave source/dest is usually for other audio applications (wave editor, winamp, games) using the Pulsar wave driver.

Hello Junglist,

I be from Canberra too on the southside. More than happy to hook up and lend a hand until you get the hang of it if you're interested.
