a communication error with pulsar 2 (board0) has occured. this problem can normally be corrected by reloading the DSP's.

if i try this by clicking yes, i get:

Unexpected DSP overload.
Choose cancel to change the project before reselecting the sample rate settings
and keep getting it...

what's this all about?

i just put the card in a new system:
AMD 2600xp, asus a7v8x-x, 512BM ram, Pulsar 2, win xp
it worked fine for some weeks, yesterday i got a problem with the luna Z-link object not working, only after restarting SFP...now i get this
didn't have time to check the manual yet but i was hoping someone could give me a clue.

thanks!

it might be an indicator for too much heat inside the computer's case.
I'm not shure, but I remember anti-virus software could have a similiar effect (?)

cheers, tom

opened the case and noticed that one of the harddisks was actually slightly touching the card. i moved it to another place and everything seems fine again. could this have been the problem ?
