Hello - I try to connect a Tascam DW 1884 via optical ADAT to the Pulsar 2. In SFP (3.1c) I have called a Adat source and connected the 8 channels to the STM 2448 mixer. I get the 8 Tascam ins routet to Adat 1/2 the Rest has no signal. I have choosen duplicate of ANLG 1:8 in the FW control panel. What can I do to get 8 Adat seperate channels?

The Tascam has 8 Inputs and 8 outputs. I want to connect my Instruments to the Tascam and send via Adat optical cable to Pulsar Adat. That means The Tascam is my ADAT source - which I connect to th mixer - Isn`t that right?

The routing in the fw-1884 is not like pulsar.

The 1-2 analog out are the master stereo out, all the time.

It's normal what you get, you need a sequencer to route thing to adat output.

You have 2 choice, use the fw-1884 asio and route ins/outs to pulsar using the sequencer routing (SX busses for exemple).

Or you use the Pulsar Asio driver, then route your 8 analog in of the fw-1884 using the insert plug to pulsar analog (assuming you have 8 analog ins).

If the goal is to use the 8 mic pres of the fw-1884, which are pretty good btw, those are the options.

I use the Scope asio driver in xtc mode in the studio, with all 8 mic pres going to pulsar and back with the insert jack of the fw-1884.

I use the fw-1884 asio driver with a laptop running nuendo2 in live situation.

Eventually, the thing would be to have a small app which would be able to route using the fw-1884 asio driver to anywhere (like adat destinations  )
