hello geeks ,
recently i have a problem with my sfp ,
the sfp jump and cracklechoked and the tempo changes for a few miliseconds when i switch from SX to sfp and when i work on the sfp instrument or fx .
it happend even though the Dsp has not reach it limit (6 dsp ), and there is no massage that says somyhing is wrong .
Sx is working fine and the problem is when i
swetch to sfp .
i suspect it maybe somthing with my matrox g450 ( agp ) card but i don't realy know .

my specs :
p4 2.4
asus p4pe
512 ddr kingstone
maxtor 80 gb 8mb catch
matrox g450 agp card (one screen is in use )

it is almost certainly due to a massive request of CPU resources when switching the graphics.
The SFP surface does NOT run on the graphics copro alone, it needs assistance of the CPU for redrwaing previously hidden windows.

There are differences though, as some graphcards are reported to be significantly faster than others. Sorry for my lack of knowledge wich ones.

I'm not shure, but it could help to have both applications on their own screen.
Two 15" TFTs should be better than one large monitor but still be affordable.

i'm preaty sure that you are right and now that you have mentioned it i remember that
when i have worked with two screen there was no problem such this.
i'll try to reconect my second screen and check it .

Try this instead:

Devices>Device Setup

go into the "VST Multitrack" section

if "Audio priority" is 'normal' set it to 'high'.

This has the same effect as setting 'High priority' by right clicking the process in Task Manger.
