He listened to all kinds of music I had composed and recently asked me to put one together for his upcoming album.

This is the final result.

Hope you like it as much as I do

Not my chops, legros, Scott Lerner's.

I'm working on another tune for him now. It's got a latin feel to it.

I'll keep you posted

Awesome. The mix, the fx'd drums, the music - this is brilliant in every aspect of the track.
I thought my days of listening to jazz were long gone, but I think you may have just rekindled something.
Well done Paul

Cool track, I like particularly the counterpoint section at 3:00.

As all the others have pointed out, drums sound very well, but the paths you used there too are very nice. Cool job Paul

Am I wrong? I hear a white
noise sometimes in the track, maybe from the guitar?
The mix is loud, wide but for my taste not well balanced. Of course he is a nice guitar player but he stands to much in the front for my taste, when he sets in your bits goes to far in the back.
But I guess the track is about his guitar play and not your piano play or all other things you´ve done.
A nice track indeed but it is to much guitar in it
For a good fusion of electronic and guitar play, I would recmommend you to the Jeff Beck album Who else, fantastic.
I like your funky trails more.
