Super cool indeed!
Nice interface, lots of fun to be had just trying different settings, but no preset list, just a .dev file.
Cheers,
Ben

Hi Ben,
Thanks
..the preset are in the middle of the text of the first post, not very clear apparently.
Oops, sorry Mehdi! Was in too much of a hurry to do the download to spot the presets! Got'em now!

i'm sorry to say this... but what the hell of a demo is that??

the sound stops every two or three seconds... i'm not ever able to listen to the delayed sound!!

i think it's sufficient to stop the audio for a while every 20 or 30 seconds...
in this way i don't think it would be usable in a serious project (so it remains a demo!), but at least one can figure out its possibility and how it works!

I totally agree with Bosone, and honestly: as a regular customer you'd have already lost me.
The big white demo label is a pity for the nice surface design
To sell something you have to convince customers, which is most simply achieved by generating some positive feelings and not by stressing nerves to the limit.
A final buying decision is always emotion driven - noone buys on facts, seriously

You certainly knew that, but just forgot about it in the final tuning of the device, n'est ce pas ?
Great that you distribute via ShareIt ! I have only good experiences with them
cheers, Tom

You might try telling CW that, who seem to think they can throw a product at you with no research and expect you to buy it pretty much on spec (like one hour demos are really useful), at least Space F asks us and is responsive to customer ideas.

He's more likely to change how demos work if you ask him than CW have been regarding their one hour, PC only

demos.

Mr. Arkadin, you know my opinion about CW's 1 hour experiment - it simply s*cks.
And I have to admit that I sat slack-jaw when I read they ('honestly...' according to Matthias) didn't know the regular demos were in fact Mac compatible. Hard to get...
My intention was to be constructive here and the points I mentioned are rather common (sales) knowledge. Since I wouldn't consider myself a 'regular' customer I'm not yet shrieked away

and of course I do appreciate that SpaceF discusses a lot of aspects of this device here publicly.
Nevertheless I don't think that CW sells much just because of their ad blurb.
It is an exclusive company with expensive boards, highest sound quality - no warez, a kind of special position, not for everyone etc.
They (almost) never fail (at least not in sound quality) when releasing new stuff and let's not forget a cool community.
All that is emotionally influenced, whatever 'facts' they write, one of the points above will be the final trigger.
On the other hand it's a fairly narrow path between coolness and arrogance, it's easy to put it too far.
Like Matthias answer why they prefer to stick with one hour limit... I accept that and don't see a reason to argue about it, but I certainly take it into account.
cheers, Tom

Hi Tom,
i couldn't agree more, you know you're one of the many respected voices on the Z (don't blush now!) and i certainly wasn't having a pop at you (i'm sure you know that anyway), more at recent CW developer's comments and the handing of a certain new plug-in's introduction to these pages. However, i am going to stop on this subject as i don't want to taint the Z's good vibe.
Oops, we've gone seriously off-topic here

. i also thumbs up Share-It (thank goodnes it wasn't PayPal)

yes indeed, and to bring this back to the topic:
my only concern with the delay is that I could only use it on external (or prerecorded) sources due to my humble 4 DSPs but that's certainly not SpaceF's fault
cheers, Tom

Is there a rough estimate of the sort of DSP usage we're looking at ? Would there be room to have this, a small synth (like dub-sub), 20 voices of the sts3000 and the 16/32 mixer with a few effects, inc reverb ?
Cheers for any comments,
Will.
p.s. oh yeah, that's with 6 chips !

With pitch-modulation activated after loading, I think it nearly fits on a Luna card. 4 of those SpaceF Echo's use half of my 21 chips. Maybe a Luna user can report if he can load a single unit with all the options enabled...

I was actually writing about ECHO, dunno why I called it 'delay'...
usually the 60 € wouldn't be a big concern, but just because it's using all resources of the Pulsar One it would have been nice to have at least a chance to hear how it sounds

I fully agree with you not to sacrifice any quality just to 'make it run' - I really appreciate that recent trend to uncompromised quality. Keep up that work
cheers, Tom
