I was playing around sampling my wall clock and my printer for possible drum kit sounds. Anyway, this is the result. Lots of strange noises, samples and Absynth2.
Enjoy.

So totally different from a lot of your other tracks but still with that BLGrace signature.
Very interesting. The vocals work well being laid back in the mix. The Absynth compliments the samples well - is it a huge printer?

I like it - very much.
I have been meaning to ask you a question for a while:
Whenever I download one of your tracks and give it a first play on my Windows media player, it always shows a track length almost double the true length. For instance, this track says 13:57 but runs for under 6 mins. It only happens with your tracks - I wonder why?

I'm not sure... but I use VBR ( Variable Bit Rate) - so maybe that is throwing out WMP - VBR files are generally larger than straight out 128kbps... so my guess is that if WMP estimates the length of the file by reading the bit rate and size of the file - it will return a wrong result (??)
Not sure.... I convert all my files using iTunes on a Mac set to 128kbps VBR... (phew) .
Anyway, glad you liked this tune. The printer sound is pretty awsome isn't it!!... A noisey Epson Stylus 600

I knew I recognised that sound! (I have one in my bedroom - they do bang about a bit).
Very interesting tune - I liked it a lot.
On the subject of play length, what version of media player are you (Neil) using?
Version 9 on my system at work (W2K) reports the correct length.

Just the simple one that comes with Windows 98. I'm a man of simple means

Thanks Royston..... yeah, that Epson is a noisy creature.....mind you, I had quite a lot of "proximity effect"

And...It took me 4 hours to get the clock going again after I stupidly took it off the wall to record it.... ROFLMAO - the pendulum thing doesn't happen when you place it in a computer chair
