This track is about 98% Absynth - even some of the drum tracks.
I was inspired by the Fluke track in Matrix Reloaded (Zion - Celebrating Humanity).
There's no escaping the similarity, tho I feel this is faster and captures a different mood. It was something to cut my teeth on while getting deeper into Absynth.
Hope you enjoy it.
I have no idea what genre it is, it's pretty heavy on the drums - for that tribal feel. I stopped working on it when I realised that's it's possibly just an inferior emulation of the Fluke track... but it was fun while it lasted

great what you made here, good job.
I'm also bussy with Absynth, coz of the update.
Not as deep as you did, just freaking around with the presets and grab what I need

I haven't seen the film yet, so I have no comparisons to make.
Superb track BLGrace. Superb sounds. I get the feeling that you had a good time putting it together too.
The mix is great on my rig - can't fault it.

Thanks you both for your kind replies.
I did actually use a lot of presets and other sounds I made based on presets - by copying evelopes but changing the OSC types etc. Version two also has a great library of prefab channels, modules, filters.. etc.... Saves a bit of time and helps you to understand how things work in Absynth.
I have to say I'm in love with it.
BTW, the tutorial on Rhymics is worth looking at to get you started. I'm trying to delve more into making longer, evolving atmospheres at the moment. Finding that hard going.
Anyway - sounds like a sales pitch for Absynth - but it is pretty cool

Yes, that´s Absynth2. I´m in love with it too. Did you know that the matrix movies use alot of Absynth sounds? I wish I could have their presets. Excellent track.

Yeah - I was aware from the NI site that Absynth had been used. I can hear it a lot now, especially in the "Freeway Car Chase" scene.

I'm still plugging away at making my own presets... I found a site that has some reprinted german keyboard magazine tutorials - it's helpful. Other than that I've used the Rhythmic tutorial on the NI site. There Doesn't seem to be much help about... but it's fun experimenting anyway.

Crystal and Absynth together... what a pair!! you can get lost for days
