I've just copied this from the XTC forum...hoping for a response....feeling dumb.-------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I am trying to run Volksampler in XTC mode in Orion Platinum. When I close SFP and open Orion I get the message "can not open midi device". I can load Volksampler fine, load samples in....just can't play it.

What do I need to do.....have I missed something simple or is this just not possible. Thanks for your patience.

It`s just simple orion can´t handle xtc. Why not simply using the standard mode for it?

Thanks Zer....ah..because I haven't worked out how! I'm away from my Daw for a while. If you feel inclined, please add some basic instructions.

simply start Sfp with the startup pro include an asio device, open the channelsetting of it and select as much cahnnels you´d like to control individaully, connect it to a mixer.

Connect Sequencer Midi source to the Midout or synth you´d like to use.

Connect the mixers out put to analog dest.

Oh..sorry Zer. I was trying to use a "piano roll" sequencer to make my playing sound good.
