Hey everyone, just thought i'd say i'm over in Sydney for a while doing what seems to be a very good adaptation of Brecht & Weill's Threepenny Opera, so any SFPeople in Sydney could drop me a note and get some tickets.

I'll be away from my pulsar till new year, which is bad, and closest internet access is King's Cross internet cafes, but i'll check regularly in case anybody wants to go for nothing, numbers permitting.

I've got my work cut out in this one - banjo, guitar, bass, accordian, dobro, harmonium and tom-tom!
Had to run around like a mad thing borrowing instruments

Otherwise, happy pulsarin', you lucky bastards

I could say that to you, not that bad to work in a show like you do!
Have a good time

btw, if you buy me a plane ticket to Australia, I pay for the show!

Three-penny-opera is great! I performed it 1998-2000 at the theatre I worked these years. But with original arrangements. I conducted it or played the very difficult piano part in the small orchestra.
Have fun, Thomas

So about 4000 people liked it and 4 didn’t… well, this is life…

Hey Wayne, it is not Columbia, this is a spaceship… it is Colombia…

If you want, I can send you a few phrases in Spanish so you get ready for that… Just ask me the ones you need! Isn’t that great? Making music and travelling, two fantastic activities, if not two of the best you can practice in this life.

well, z family, i'm a few hours away from getting on the first of four planes to Colombia - (Sydney-Auckland-LA-San Jose-Bogota)

It's going to be good, i think - we've rehearsed in Sydney for a bit and the show's looking revitalised - 6 new cast members.

I spent all afternoon cooking quesadillas & chorizos with my Salvadoran mate Luis, so I'm feeling ready to rock

this picture is from the festival website Image

that's me being a gangster at a wedding in a stable.
wish us luck
