I currently have a Pulsar2+ and a Pulsar 1, which gives me 4 ADAT ins + outs. My question is, is there any way I can get MORE? Like 6, and still keep my balanced analogue in+out of the Pulsar 2. How about the Z-link option and the ADAT expansion? I am not quite sure how this works and what it'll give me - besides, Creamware are not selling the z-link separately anymore are they?

The thing is, I am using my Pulsar2 to sync all my other PC's via ADAT and I have no outputs left anymore and I will also be buying an AD/DA and that will eat up one ADAT (as the one I'm buying has no "through").

You can have three CW cards in one machine, so just buy a Pulsar II with ADAT I/O option an you'll get three ADATs more. And 6dsp

Or, you can buy LunaEX with two ADATs. It also has Z-Link.

Getting another Pulsar is unfortunately not an option. I have one PCI slot unused and I want to keep it this way for heat (and IRQ) purposes.

If u get the top one on this page...
http://www.creamware.de/en/Products/Har ... ltpics.asp

Don' t know how this top I/O board is called, don't know if the additional I/O displayed with it still fit if you install the 3 ADAT I/O board. I think you should ask CW about this, especially since their hardware expansions page, http://www.creamware.de/en/Products/sfp ... cs_xtc.asp , doesn't mention the 3 ADAT I/O board.
