i want to seperate chords in realtime and send each seperate note to a different midi channel.

its so i can control several mono synths from my poly controller.

does anyone have any idea how to go about doing this, as there is not really much you can do with midi with existing atoms (creating a device) there might be a trick or something.

if not in SFP, maybe a software or even hardware (as long as its not to expensive)

main thing is it has to be realtime. (i know u can manually split them after recording in logic or whatever, that wont do )

probably the arpeg 02 can do such a job, or somebody has written a tool like the one from logics environment.

Lots of key splitters might do the job...

there is a tool in logic that can do this on input realtime? that would work well. i cant seem to find it or anything about it in the manual.

its not just a "key splitter" like for instance the creamware one..it would have to be a bit more intelligent than that, and follow what you are playing.

As for logic you havbe to search in the environment. This things can be done by the transformator (it is explained in the logic audio manual, but hard to understand).

in the great lofic audio book they explained it using the song popcorn which has been completely composed using this tool.

I just read what the manual says and this is what I came up with:

If you are using just one arpeggio use the transformer to filter the notes and send them to the different devices.

If you use different arpegii, put the different arpeggii on separate tracks and use a transformer on each on the same way you would use it on the one track.

I may try this out myself

yes this transformer thing looks like it might work, if i can ever figure it out
