To ease pain, i bought back gear and found the best looking place available for my confort and the musicians i hang out with. the way it should be... i feel like it is near finish and would like to get input from you as to what you'd see to make it complete

Nicely mixed, nice ideas, great instrumentation.
For my own personal tastes I'd have liked to hear some high strings (simple) as a sort of counter harmony to the bass line and vocals in a couple of places.

One of the best tracks on the "Z".

When I read Neil's review I thought there was a lack of a static element. I disagree. The echo on the voice acts as the static element countering all the dynamism of the marimba and bass.

Don't change a thing, legros

Don't. The song is a statement not an elaboration

ah, the drums really nail it. love the ambience. Guess the drums and bass line really work together. Hey, but it's great to hear you're getting your life back. I could only imagine how tough it must have been to get everything back up and running after you've lost it all. cheers dude!
