Please give more details on the blah blah bit as that might be the important bit of the message.
BTW did you get the STDM cable to connect your cards yet?

Are you getting the 'Cannot load XTC devices' pop-up maybe? These are no errors, just warnings that SFP Project is loaded and no XTC devices can be used simultaneously.
Or do SX projects refuse to load? If you have autosave enabled, there's always a .bak backup for your saved project...

yep, got my cable from sonic8 who sent it free!!
as regards the cubase thing, i cant load some projects...(not the xtc pop up error, not a problem), its just i saved a song i was working on and now it says cant load project. this has happend a few times now and somtimes it will load after a few trys but now wont load at all, as if the song has become corupt

Im wondering if its somthing to do with mabie saving the song and closing cubase down with scope running in the background then chinging the scope envirment slighty ( ad a synth or wot ever) then trying to open cubase again..mabie cubase saves what are pluged into the asios at the time or somthing??
i also noticed this error when i save a song then chainge my scope set up for mixing having used a scaled down scope envirment for making the songs... if u know what i meen??

Well I don't use Cubase but changing the project certainly should not have this kind of effect. Certainly it does not have this effect with Logic, but Cubase may handle the ASIO setup differently, I'm not sure. I think it's unlikely though.
It looks to me as if it's either a Cubase bug, or some corruption is occurring (when did you last check for viruses?).
peace

Are you running in XTC or SFP mode? If it's XTC i can't help any (i'm a Maccer), but in SFP mode as long as you keep the same number of ASIO sources anything else you do in a project won't affect Cubase - i use VST and do it all the time with VST open.
You interchange the terms Song and Project so i'm a little confused now, are you saying you can't load your SFP Project or your Cubase Song? When you save an SFP Project do you add the '.pro' extension to the name as you must have this for it to reload (doesn't happen automatically on my Mac, dunno about on PC)?

ok, sory for being so unclear.....BUT i may (???) have fixed it no
im not using xct mode, but it seems that if i save a cubase song with the atmosphere vsti still in the vsti slot the song wont open ( pop up with it saying "cannot open project file 'xxx'" )(songs in cubase sx are called projects btw

)..but having only had this message after using my new scope setup i thought it was scope thats the prob..i have taken out the atmosphere plugin and noe the cubase projects open!! ARGH!!..sory for waisting your time guys!!

You my need to mail the makers (Spectrasonics?) about this incompatibilty, you should be able to use their VSTi in your songs (called projects now, eh? That'll be confusing for further posts).
Just glad you don't have to bash your CW cards!
