When I create a my own program, and save it under a name of my choosing, it is still called "NEW PROGRAM" for some reason.

Why is this? I have a feeling I´ve overlooked something obvious here but I just cant figure it out.

Click on the name New Program in the Program window - nothing will happen but the name is now active (start typing and you'll see). Call the Program whatever you want. Now when you go Save As it should automatically have the name and the .sts extension.

Heh, I tried to figure this out for at least an hour without results. I was pulling my hair in despair, and finally decided to post on planetz.

When I read your answer I just burst out laughing

I thought to myself: "Dammit Nisse, you´re supposed to be a professional sound engineer and you cant even figure this out"

Thanks for the super fast reply though, Mr. Arkadin

it took me 10 years to discover theat you can change the name of the Cubase Arrangement in the name field, as opposed to actually saving the song as Arrangement...
I felt ashamed too
