What's the exact difference between .p and .sts sampling format? Is it related to the maximum sample rate and/or dit depth or to some limitation in the maximum disk space avalaible for the samples?
When I try to export a .sts program as a .p one the .p program I obtain is unable to work and the message "unable to lock samples, not enought physical memory" appears. I precise that the initial .sts program use 24bit samples for a maximum of about 20MB

I don't know why it can't load the .p correctly, altough i guess it's related to the fact that .p stand for Akai programs, and akai play 16bits. .sts are native to STS series. They're supposed to be almost the same as original akai programs, with sts specifics parameters. So it make sense.
