Hi, i've been looking at Cubase SX lately to eventualy replace Logic (on PC) which will not be updated no more.

I'm trying to add a VST effect to an asio input. I activated the input with right channel in SX. but it doesn't seen to apply the effect i put in the insert, nor do i ear applyed effect on sends...

I guess this is simple, it's just that Cubase is totaly new too me. So new, i installed it this morning...

Maybe somebody could help me?

If you want to hear inserts on inputs, you send them to a channel, and monitor it in Cubase after making sure Direct Monitoring (zero latency thing) is deactivated, and of course the track is muted in SFP...

Ah!

Thanks At0mic, it was the direct monitoring thing that wasn't ok... I tough completely the oposite... Activate direct monitoring to hear stuff directly

Ok, let's go on with testing... Anybody use Nuendo2 Is it worth the difference in price with SX? Even with SX2 coming?
