Can any one tell me at what level their input clips in Cubase SX? I am using a Luna box and if I look at my recorded level in the SX audio editor, it never goes above 42%. Typical recordings are 25%. I can never get the input to clip on the Cubase input meter, the maximum is about -7dB. I am wondering if my Luna is clipping at a low level?

I have just worked out the problem.... as normal.... me!!
I had recording set to 32bit in SX and I'm using 24bit ASIO in SPF.

It's me again....
I think the problem I had was a TrueTape bug in Cubase SX. When I disabled TrueTape the levels recorded OK with everything set to 32bit. I re-enabled TrueTape and it now works fine. The default settings for TrueTape don't work correctly, I searched on Cubase.net and it seems there are long standing bugs with TrueTape.
I had a look at my recordings over the past year and they all appear on the low side. I feel like I should have realised.
