Hello All,
Just a quick question about installation. When I install the Pulsar 3.1c software, should I also install the XTC component even though I won't use it (anyway, I have read that it doesn't work). Can it be skipped in the installation procedure or should it be included to allow for a smoother, trouble free installation?
I just got my new system built, got it home but I had error messages referring to Pulsar. You can't imagine my disappointment when things didn't work out as I expected. I had been planning and waitng for a while for this moment only to be disappointed. I thought that it might have been related to the fact that I chose not to install the XTC component so therefore leaving out a vital element.
I had to return my PC and after a lot of hassle they managed to discover that one of RAM chips (Corsair DDR 400 Dual head) was faulty so they are replacing it and will do a clean reinstall of everything. But I won'
t have my PC till next week.
While I am here, what is the order of installation? Is it:
Windows XP> ASAPI drivers> Pulsar software> then LOGIC/I also will install Cubase> followed by all my other soft synths? Then NERO and other miscellaneous software.Or should Logic/Cubase come before Pulsar? would it be a problem installing Cubase and Logic together in the same system (I am not going to partition my drives by the way)? For instance what happens when I install my soft synths and It has asks me which VST folder to place them in?
