"reptiles, being cold blooded would welcome higher average temperatures. anyone who has kept reptiles for pets could tell you that."
Being cold blooded also mean you don't sweat and need shade/colder temperatures for your organs to work properly. Lizards love sunbathing, but they also need to cool down. Apparently, temperature also affects gender of newborns.
I would also welcome large amount of quality women and wine, but it wouldn't necessarily be healthy for me.
So anyone who keeps reptiles is apparently liars.

There are so many things wrong with your theory that reptiles like warm temperatures so global climate change is good for them. Where to begin?
First of all, reptiles and amphibians are very sensitive to environmental changes. The gender of offspring in some species is determined by temperature. A higher temperature would mean that all the eggs would be the same gender. That is just one example. You don't know the minutia of hematology so don't act like you do!
There is another point which I have brought up before but some of you people somehow can't remember is that the reason it's now called "Global Climate Change" rather than "Global Warming" is because the effect doesn't mean it will be warmer everywhere. Some places will be colder. The average global temperature is getting warmer. Try to remember this. I know it's difficult for you. The weather is very complicated.

not really - at least in my area 'farmer's rules' about the weather still apply - for centuries

No BC thats the problem .... you seem to be confusing two very different issues.
Weather is simple .... Climate is very complicated

I think I was the one that brought up the fact that it's being touted as "climate change" now...which imo is handy however this looks 100 yrs down the line

Exactly.
Just so I can state my concerns properly.
I have no problem with conservation and enviromentalism.
But why not solve issues that will have an effect on the enviroment now..?
Something that the data supports like overfishing areas which HAS been proven to harmful
A wave of the hand by the clumsy UN would surely be helpful here.
Just create Marine sanctuaries and do the job at hand.
Ban plastics or at least a gradual reduction until a better alternative is available.
Well there's no money in it, actually corporate entities are made up of conglamourates which pay into the pockets of these " protectors " of the Planet.
Bottom line is, that Health Care, Cap & Trade, etc. These programs are designed to create streams of revenue into the hands of our " leaders." It's really that simple. Its actually an area where all political sides agree in a bi-partisn fashion. Naturally, becasue it benefits them, and the stocks they have invested in.
Global Warming, Climate Change, Weapons Of Mass Destruction, Worldwide Jihadists, etc.etc.
How many more forgotten and future lies can we withstand before we finally get off of our sorry asses and vote these worthless cock suckers out of office.
From what we are witnessing in the USA, record election results have already started, we are removing career politicans, and the ones that aren't being voted out are hightailing it out of town in record numbers.....................Convenient.........Now when they get a chance to actually listen to the people and lead, they suddenly have Cancer, or can no longer bare being away from their family.......

you guys are hilarious!
yes, i know, chuckwallas and sidewinders will be really sad that it's warm.
geee, how did reptiles survive the age of the dinosaurs? how did they even survive the midieval warm period when GRAPES GREW WELL IN ENGLAND AND GREENLAND WAS GREEN? why is this even an issue? this latter discussion is just another way of diverting attention from the hoax. it's as short sighted as people who say "i can't live without my computer" when there are those of us who are old enough to remember when NOBODY had a computer because they didn't even exist.
this other stuff is well besides the point that the co2 warming data was faked and therefore the theory is a hoax.

dude, even the wildest projections are only talking about a few degrees warmer on average. it's not like they're talking about a 20 degree rise in temperatures on average.
please save the reductio ad absurdum arguments for something more worthy.

one "reductio ad absurdum argument" often follows another.

true, however logic alone is enough to show that if data is false, then the theory based on the data MUST be false. there is no logic fallacy here, neither is this an emotional response. some huge reptile population may dissapear in the next 10 years, but there's no way to blame it on man-made CO2 global warming, since that definitely doesn't exist, even if the planet IS going through a warming period. there's also no way any warming period could be mediated through "carbon taxes", since carbon has nothing to do with that alleged warming...

-btw ntn, while you're using the fallacy of digression(misdirection, red herring), in changing the subject to logic fallacies, you did correctly identify my argument as reductio ad absurdum(properly used). i however, misidentified your previous argument as reductio ad absurdum. it is more properly called "bad analogy".

as always...

Regardless of where you think our tax dollars go, we shouldn't be paying people to have babies. That only increases global warming. If we want more people, there are plenty of people who will come here for free.

that was just strange!
you are truly confused. this thread is not about tax dollars(whatever THOSE are), paying for babies or immigration. it's about the fact that the data proving global warming through human co2 production was fake.
the argument that people having babies makes the earth warmer, might be true to some degree, but it's unlikely that your neighbor's baby has any effect near what the icelandic volcano had. for whatever warming factor that another human might be party to, it wouldn't be through some imaginary co2 mechanism in any case.
having other people have babies to come to the usa, while strange, is likely to be just as impactive, warming-wise, as home grown babies. but again, this wouldn't be because of the now-known-to-be-fake-anthromorphic-co2-based-global-warming theory.
-btw, the reason people want to come to the USA, is because their own people or govenors treat them poorly. some of them are treated poorly, because they are not good people. we don't want those ones here. some are good people who have not been treated well. we DO want them to come, but not all at once. actually, it'd be best if their own governmental systems or the world's rulers would allow them some of the wealth from their own lands. then nobody would want to come here, because home would already be nice. that's why i can't imagine why most europeans or japanese to want to move here, because they are already fairly well off. those who are not well off, might want to try their luck at something else, this is natural. it IS necessary, however for each locality to have as much autonomy as possible, because the people that live in an area are the main ones affected by any outside influences and who have to clean up any mess. this begins at the lowest level, which is your house. you control who goes in and out of your house, correct? that is because you must live there. it's to your benefit to police the area yourself. this does not change the fact that the data was fake and the theory of co2 based global warming was a lie, since it was based on the fake data.
i hope this has helped clear up some of the confusion.

That is by far the dumbest thing you've ever said (and that's saying something). I bet you think cows farting causes the methane 'problem' too.

Thats Pricless.
I believe that we should kill all the white people personally.
They have started all of the wars and caused Global warming since the 1600's.
By eliminating them we could reduce the Planets tempurature by a few degrees within the decade.
