Ah, well, how can I put this without insulting our good friends across the Tasman... hmmm..... well here's something from another site which may help:
A New Zealander, a sheep and a dog were survivors of a terrible shipwreck.
They found themselves stranded on a desert island and after being there for a while they got into the habit of going to the beach every evening to watch the sun go down.
One particular evening, the sky was red with beautiful cirrus clouds, the breeze was warm and gentle; a perfect night for romance. As they sat there, the sheep started looking better and better to the Kiwi.
Soon, he leaned over to the sheep and put his arm around it.
But the dog got jealous, growling fiercely until the Kiwi took his arm from around the sheep.
After that, the three of them continued to enjoy the sunsets together, but there was no more cuddling.
A few weeks passed by and lo, and behold, there was another shipwreck.
The only survivor was a beautiful young woman, the most beautiful woman the Kiwi had ever seen.
She was in a pretty bad way when they rescued her, and they slowly nursed her back to health.
When the young maiden was well enough, they introduced her to their evening beach ritual.
It was another beautiful evening: red cirrus clouds, a warm and gentle breeze; perfect for a night of romance.
Pretty soon the New Zealander started to get 'those feelings' again. He fought them as long as he could, but he finally gave in and leaned over to the young woman, cautiously, and whispered in her ear...
'Would you mind taking the dog for a walk?'

Well I did hear a joke about a Montanan, a Californian and a sheep, but it's a bit graphic...
And Borg, New Zealand has about 60 million sheep and Australia has about 140 million (depending on the year), so you're right. And the saying here years ago used to be that Australia became rich "on the sheeps back", but let's not take such things too literally.
Instead - and just to make sure all's fair with our Kiwi friends - here's another sheep joke....
A man walks up to a New Zealand sheep farmer and says, "If I can tell you exactly how many sheep you have down there, can I keep one?"
The farmer glances at the vast array of sheep, snickers, and says, "Sure."
The man looks carefully at the sheep, then says, "5,279."
The farmer, startled, says, "How did you do that?"
The man says, "I'd rather not say. Can I have my animal?"
"I guess so," says the farmer. The man picks up an animal and starts to walk away.
"Wait!" yells the farmer. "If I can guess where you're from, will you give me my animal back?"
The man snickers, and says, "Sure."
"You're from Australia," says the farmer.
The man, startled, says, "How did you do that?"
The farmer says, "I'd rather not say. Can I have my dog back?"

Hi John ,thank you for running this very wellorganized and constructive forum.
I have a comment on your decition concerning DXL.
The difficult diciplin of democracy is among other things to be able to accept that other don´t agree with you and to respect them anyway.A discussion with concensus is not a discussion.Therefore I think it´s a complete mistake to bann DXL.He will not damage the reputation of Creamware,only Creamware can do that.I´m very sure that one reason that Pulsar is now a very wellfunctioning and stable system (in the beginning it was horrible) is that they listened too the very strong (deserved)critic they received.And I think the examples that you give why you did like that are much too weak.
A very happy Pulsar user and diversity lover.
