Now the so-called 'environmental movement' have conceded that Nuclear (i.e. Nukular) power is a viable alternative to coal despite the fact that it takes a LOT of coal power to process the RADIOACTIVE fuel, let alone how many big holes and mountains have to destroyed (along with their ecosystems) in order to even get at the ore. Oh, and then there's that little Nuclear WASTE issue....

Plus, having WORKED in a Nuke plant back in the day, I couldn't believe the amount of corruption and union manipulation that went on that only drove budgets and schedules 10 YEARS over the target.

There's no way that taxing, regulating (i.e. Enronizing), and revisioning history will recover 100+ of industrial age disruption, when the man-made (supposed) impact is so much smaller than all the other factors.

We COULD be incentive-driven to get tax breaks to build companies that come up with alternatives, and just tell the oil companies to go F themselves, but to do the inverse and treat us like idiots for breathing is just ridiculous.

My whistle-blower friends at NOAA are about to burst at the seams with this one....

Well in the social circles I meander through most women work out, have yoga/dance classes, and want another man/woman to notice their statement of attire and beauty.
To pretend you don't notice this is fine, but women want to be reminded of their strengths be it beauty or achievement.
When a women takes the time to dress with such class, it's safe to assume she would appreciate a compliment.
Susan Boyle damn near fainted when she returned to the public with new clothes and styled hair. It made her so happy that someone noticed her in that context.
We can agree that women play an important role in most mens lives. My Great Grandmother and Grandmother started my Piano playing when I was 4 years old, my mother has raised me and made me well aware of the finer things in life, while my father taught me the reality.
When I see a beautiful women I get a buzz still, someday that might all go away, but until it does I suppose I will insult them with compliments on beauty and attire.
Then I can ponder if she's a crack shot w/ a 45, or if she prefers IEM's over the older BETA 58's, and compliment her on social standing, but I can assure you that she wants a compliment on her appearance and acceptance way before her social achievements.
And I have women compliment me on my ass and shoulders long before they tell me the obvious statement that you're a fine musician. But that's what the world's like when you leave the confines of your home and venture out into the unknown.
At the end of the day can we agree that a compliment makes the world happy.

The trick is to not get caught up in believing that the enemies that are put in front of you (that you can see) are the real enemy.
Believe me it is WAY outside our interests to fund such evil. It's a misnomer. Easy to point the finger at something in front of you.
However, these organizations are not all funded by US citizens.
The Fed is NOT the US government (Congress had to pass fraudulent laws to obey the Feds wishes over a hundred years ago), and is largely funded now by China and European interests (as it already was at its founding) - enabling the Fed to print cash out of mid-air.
Remember that the global elite own the banks. Everything else is a shell game/ponzy scheme driven by 'collectivists'.

before it was "global warming", now it's just "climate change". when has there ever been "stable" climate(the earth's history has been one of constantly changing climate)? who was making all the CO2 during the middle ages warm period? why do they tell us that temperature follows CO2 levels when it's quite clear from the data that CO2 levels follow temperature? why did the university that ALL the UN climate data comes from fake that data(now confirmed as FACT)? why do people refuse to admit that people get together and PLAN things? why haven't sea levels actually risen like they said they would? why is the polar ice still at the same level(everytime they show ice breaking free, it's during the summer, when the ice ALWAYS retreats)? why do people treat obvious lies as truth?

i have questions, but instead of answers, those who claim to disagree with my point of veiw speak about rhetorical priciples and national and tribal issues that are meaningless to those with actual power....

CO2 is necessary for life and historically, the levels are very low. 30 billion metric tons sounds like a lot, but that's only because people have no idea about the real size of the earth. once again, ALL 6.5 billion humans would have 1100 square feet of room if all packed into the state of texas, do the math.

everything i am saying is based on undisputed FACT. "global warming" is based on what have now been shown to be skewed statistics. that's not to say that the climate won't change. long before automobiles, the climate changed radically many times in recent history. in europe, it's well known that it was VERY warm during the middle ages, to the point that grapes grew in england and in the 15-1700's europe froze over.

i am completely FOR taking care of the environment. i thought there's no more polar ice? to bad it really hasn't gone anywhere. even if the warming promised actually happens, it wouldn't be that strange or abnormal, even without humans. STOP CRYING.

Because you're brainwashed by the lie that these culprits are (true) conservatives. They're not.
They prefer to spend and tax, spend and tax their way into oblivion - which fixes nothing.
If there is no incentive to MAKE money by conserving the environment, or developing alternatives (which IS happening more in the private sector), then governments only choice is to bleed and penalize the general population into 'compliance' to 'regulations' via taxes and penalties. If you don't 'comply', then you'll be penalized.
It's ALL reacting after-the-fact.

And the other brainwash is that CO2 is the problem. It's not. The problem is the other chemicals, and volcanic/tectonic factors, and solar factors that have NOTHING to do with human-factor. Human impact re: CO2 is small compare to the other cycles, but they'll make you believe it's all your fault for turning on a light switch or for driving your car.

Communist countries like China won't give a shit about the environment as long as they are bribed into 'compliance' to some protocol that won't even take effect for another 20 years.

If you want things to change, then LITERALLY stop buying their crap.

And PLEASE do yourselves a favor and look at real data concerning CO2's and other Earth-factors that have been around WAY longer than humans, and WAY longer than the industrial age.

it's not a personal battle between intellects! this is about what is factual and what is not, not about what you think about things. this is not about "evil elites" or any such ideation. it's about admitted planning and manipulation of people over things that aren't real. REAL environmentalism would be fine. agendas that come from the same source as the makers of the trouble aren't worth the energy. if people really want to do something, they can make the place they live a little more pleasant, even if it's just by being good to someone else for a change, and that would do a lot more for the state of the earth than any cap and trade policy ever could. i don't need experts to run my life, thanks.

how does any cap and trade policy actually do anything for the earth anyway? at best, it'll punish some ordinary folk, who were only doing what they were told by the tv when they bought that car to begin with. it's not like the policy makers left them any choice when the real public transit options were destroyed by an industry.

nope, nothing to do about the FACT that the climate has always been variable and in the last 2000 years, it has varied WIDELY. in the case that nothing needs to be nor can be done about a problem that isn't a problem, the wisest thing to do IS nothing.

there is no backlash, no downside, no danger to not solving the climate change problem, because it's NOT a problem! there ARE actual problems made by humans, like dumping millions of gallons of old nerve gas into the ocean or GMO crops or ELF installations or the love of CHEAP crap with tons of packaging, but these problems are easily solved as well. don't do those things(except for dumbasses buying lots of cheap crap with too much packaging, most of the real problems are made by huge corporations and governments, NOT the public). if those that run things really were concerned, such a situation wouldn't even exist, since those who claim authority and knowledge are soooo omniscient that they could see all this trouble when these problems were approved for public consumption, and since they are SOOOO concerned with helping people and making a lovely earth, that they wouldn't do or promote such behavior. isn't it funny that the public is sold on a behavior and then when the obvious fruits of that behavior are reaped, the public is blamed?
