Paranoid is a rich guy with a mansion and a 20,000 USD Bose stereo who has his stereo shut off with a clock radio/alarm on, barely audible, while he tip toes around his house looking out of the blinds because he thought he heard something.............. :D

The media hypes everything because it makes them feel important and for ratings$. It's going to fizzle out. Normal flu during the winter kills thousands.

it doesn't take much paranoia to see that the folks in charge mostly make trouble. it's naive to think they do nothing for their own interests, whatever those interests may be, even illogical ones. it doesn't take paranoia to actually read the scholarly works by those in the highest positions proclaiming the need to maim and destroy humans that they have no use for. it takes no paranoia to think that any virus might be artificial when their are weapons labs developing weaponized viri that are known and admitted. it doesn't take much when one sees that almost every major government has a scandal related to experimentation on the public.

are there good people in government? most definitely!

are there some nasty sick and twisted individuals in positions of power in government? obviously.

this virus was an absolute hoax. the "media" which is all owned by 10 or 20(more like 3 or 4) people propagated it, with official sanction. the meaning of it all is unclear, but the evidence that is available is unnerving. i'm sorry if that spoils anyone's day. i'm in very good humor regardless, i assure you. i don't like to give the negativity the satisfaction of totally ruining a nice day, but i'm not going to just close my eyes either...

Yes, but think about this: Who owns the tinfoil production companies?

the one who owns the tin.

with voice to skull technology(one such patent is here), voices or other sounds are modulated as microwaves and beamed at a person's head, causing them to hear voices and other sounds inside their head. the US military has been openly developing this technology and it has been used for at least a couple of ads, one a demonstration at Disney World, one for a television show about the occult(when people pass the ad, they hear ghost voices and a narrator telling them it's not their imagination). tinfoil may very well work as an insulator for V2K, so maybe those lunatics are onto something....

all groups of people have bad eggs and the bad eggs tend to rise to the top through their ruthlessness and lack of compassion. therefore, government is not to be trusted. of course Occam was not correct about everything, he was not omniscient and many things in this world are hidden, and that really is the simple truth.

i did not say to abolish government. i just suggested that it's pretty damned foolish and short-sighted to trust them until there's overwhelming evidence. they should be under the microscope and only applauded when their works can't be glossed over, because there's nothing to be hidden. when governments require the citizenry to report every action, but hides it's own actions, it's clear that bad men are in charge.

who are you protecting with that emotional response Petal? :)

Fortunately the anti-government people a.k.a."states rights advocates" are now a minority mostly of southern politicians with a couple in the North West.

It's refreshing after the miserable failed philosophy of letting corporations walk all over people for decades.

exactly so! i believe that was also said in my posts.

atrocities HAVE been commited many time in the past though, and people haven't changed. to gloss over atrocities, especially when there are REAL programs to commit them is also irresponsible.

"states rights" folks are against corporations or ANYONE walking all over people. if the government(like the present one in the USA) is run by corporations, then the government is NOT the solution to corporate abuse. i am reminded of the parable of the fox guarding the henhouse...

That´s not how evolution works. Survival of the fittest is just natural.

I think we should remember that the 1918 flu pandemic is estimated to have killed 50 million people which was only about 1% of the world population. Most people will survive.

wrong.it is survival of he who fits the best.the strongest and most dominant is not always or even often the survivor.if it was, tyrannosaurs would be everywhere. "survival of the fittest" was merely a rationaization of the power of kings.

anyway, THERE IS NO NEED TO KILL PEOPLE TO "SAVE" THE EARTH!
