what are you listening to at the moment?
Re: what are you listenennig to at the moment?
I would recommend Thomas Mapfumo - Chimurenga Singles 1976-1980. Mbira on guitars. Beautiful bass & kit work too. I have heard reports the Rhodesian government played this from helicopter loudspeakers in an attempt to flush out rebels

Hocus pocus ! Great! What a riff...
Not because it is easy, but because it is hard...

Geez, Focus!
Jan Akkerman, still active. And Thijs van Leer, living around the corner here (on a worldscale then ), doing small semi-classic concerts in chapels and the like.
Brainbox, Dutch sixties band with Jan Akkerman, which made him known:

I would have never even paid attention to Justin Bieber, but after this arrangement I have to like it. Then Adele? No way for a fusion man... What’s up with me! I love it now so very much!
When little boys from pop music will learn to arrange this way? Never, but we have them WOW!!! :

Gomm reminds me of Michael Hedges.

You can bet your balls little boys learn from big boys who are paid big bucks, there would have been megahours of writing, arrangement and mentoring from big label hired industry icons at least twice their age. They didn't do this in isolation in some garage, in fact they wouldn't be allowed to (until they grow up & learn to assert themselves). Everything would be controlled until then.Nestor wrote:I would have never even paid attention to Justin Bieber, but after this arrangement I have to like it. Then Adele? No way for a fusion man...
