no need to twist my words. i meant what i wrote and only spelled out some Truth.
i've yet to make money(although there's been occasional useful cash flow), and any helpful features that can be engineered into Scope are good, even if i don't need and/or want them. others may....

very true. sometimes i wonder why i need 64bit. is it MS/intel pushing us to buy new technology? its become habit to change our audio systems every year. more software is coming with new bugs and we waste our time to solve it than again we bought another plugs/hardware/64bit/win7/ or actually we want to do everything with less time so.. update your system?

I need 64-bit in order to make full use of 4GB RAM in my PC. Windows 7 64-bit will be the most popular OS in the future so it will be a great boon if we finally get those 64 bit drivers because it will mean we can hold onto our Scope investments for another 5-7 years at least. I need 64 bit for security.

oh see'er of the future, rest assured that when S/C remains in business and your predictions come true(in the future) then you shall certainly have a 64bit version.

i saw at pricegrabber xp needs 64MB ram where win7 needs 1GB. if you switch to 8GB your gain is 6GB(processor needs 1GB i guess)

I use 3.4GB out of 4GB's RAM under 32bit XP SP2. I had SP3 accidentally installed a month back due to my O.S. + Apps HDD on the verge of failure. I even rolled that back to SP2.
If you enjoy making un interrupted music stay with what works.
The 3GB PAE Switch doubled the amount of RAM I needed for sample playback. Without the switch I probably would be all fussy and shit too.
But just watching some of my apps struggle w/ SP3 tells me that developers are being forced to make this move prematurely and therefore the newest is not the best.
However, Eric Pershings' apps are built ground up for 64bit. and I am sure those Dogs will hunt.
But most developers are throwing bridged work arounds to keep up w/ Vista, Windows 7 and Snow Leopard 38 or whatever the hell their giving us to crash our rigs with.
If I was into tweaking around and not gigging I am sure it would be fun, but I need to make money, so I will wait until Holger says it's ready.
