He's the funniest out of all them and pokes fun at the whole left/right decacle.
Oh and BTW......Old man Jackson took his inheritance early as he appears to be left out of the will.
Perhaps he knew this as his shameless plugs seem to be what he's interested in.
The reason he appears happy is because he probably owed MJ millions and now he can stiff a stiff...

It's his job. I haven't seen him be mean spirited like he was with Bush.

Jon Stewart is a NJ Jew. Anyone who thinks he didn't gladly vote for Obama is just plain delusional (hint, he worships Bruce Springsteen.)

Colbert's head writer was recently a guest on Fresh Air. She acknowledged he is a liberal (of course of course!) Liberals are not totally happy with the democrats but that doesn't mean we think both parties are the same.

Anyone know what Guitar this is?
It looks like a Paul Reed Smith but I can't find a jpeg big enough, but it sounds awesome.
I am trying to get her distorted sound but it is a shitty mp3 of the rehearsal.
It has a really unique sound.
Jackson always had an ear for picking players and sounds and he did really well with this broad.
She actually reminded of the chick who was wailing with Carrie Underwood at the Grammys last year.
This little Hussie smokes.........I enjoy watching young chicks in a male dominated area, especially when you can tell they have woodshedded for years.
She had to know everyone would be laughing at her until she got good...............well she's really good.
I need to find out who was on the synths too as I heard some powerful analog in the mix. That's the beauty of analog synths though, there's never a question if it's virtual or not. In a live mix with other instruments going on it just blends, but when doing bass or lead there's no hiding the sound.
It's sad as this tour had the potential to be really amazing.
I think this gal is going to perform at the funeral, you gotta hear her, she's so fresh and kind of cute to boot.

Found it........

It sure looks like a Paul Reed Smith with Humbuckers....But I am not a big Guitar buff, but the sound she gets almost sounds as full as an old ES335 Semi-Hollow Body.
She ain't to shabby looking either for a white chick.

Yes, I've seen Tina on other shows including the Grammy's I believe. She's a showboat that can hold her own.

Yes, it looks like a PRS signature model with little birdies on the neck.

Cute combo package. :P

I saw the other day a post by some physician, stating that MJ and Farrah Fawcett had one thing in common that may explain their deaths...they both were addicted to diet-coke...and death by cardiac failure is one possible outcome of long-time
use, as is different kinds of cancer.
She also pointed out Flo-Jo(Florence Griffith Joyner ) as another victim.

Orianthe is from Adelaide, South Australia, my home town. It's a quiet place that can't hold on to it's musicians for long :)

Damn Wayne.................can you hook a Brotha' Up ?
I think MJ's funeral is turning into a typical joke, but I will watch to see her perform.
I get a kick out of Politicians whining about the cost to the city, and how there's no laws to steal any profits made by the promotion.
Typical California politicians standing around with their hands out for a cut of the action..............??
If they were truly for the people as they claim you'd think they be happy instead of trying to figure out a way for them to profit.
Have they forgotten this guy is a hero to millions of people, I am not one of them, but I do have respect.
Why can't these Politicians be happy that for the first time in months local Hotels will probably have full occupancy.......
As soon as someone else other than them makes a dime they get tweaked out, and start running around with their tin cups begging.............pathetic.
Respect the funeral, and be glad the local businesses aren't embarrassing themselves by asking to be bailed out like their chosen " leaders " in Sacramento.
Better yet, give them a fuckin' I.O.U. and see how they like it..........................

He's great.

I don't agree with all these conspiracy theories about our country. It reminds me of Rush and the White Supremacists. They always have crazy ideas that somehow everyone else has never heard of.

That was the most incredible funeral I have ever heard of or seen.
It was so New Orleans-ish as it was a celebration more than a funeral.
I actually have reheased for funerals before as strange as that sounds.
It was a fitting farewell.
Brooke Sheilds didn't play a lick but OMG she is fine as hell still.
She has lived 2 blocks from me ever since she married Agassi, and I have only seen her in her Limo once. Pavarrazzi's get arrested here in Nevada when they stalk celebrities at their home.
It's actually one of the best laws I have seen passed in decades.
Ask OJ, nobody slides when they go to court in Nevada.....................

R.I.P. MJ....

We can continue to take things at face value, and think that everything we hear in the media, and from politicians is real, and just take the pill so we don't have to be responsible or think for ourselves, or you can choose to see through the veil of lies and avoid so-called conspiracy 'theories', even though there's tons of documentation and insider whistle blowing telling us what's really happening.

Wow I just saw the Stevie Wonder vocal stuff w/ Piano I must have missed.
He is just on it.
I saw his concert on PBS 2 weeks ago and was impressed as well.
I watch PBS for the live concerts and Masterpiece Theater stuff.
Spectacle also has many great shows as long as Bishop doesn't sing too much.
I am saving hundreds by not going to all the Concerts that come here at the Hard Rock and MGM.
I can actually use concert tickets as tax write offs and last year I spent 4800 USD for shows...... :o
I have only gone to the Pedal Steel showdown for 40 bucks this year.
Sacrifices must be made........

Yeah, Stevie is a pure genius, so was Michael Jackson. The funerals were outstanding and full of emotions. I could feel the shiver here in France throught TV. The final of "We are the world" actually succeded in me having a few tears out of my eyes. Man, those american fellows can really sing and play !!! :o

Amazing that music is the only form of world "togetherness". The only way you could have hundreds of million people being together, feeling the same at the same moment.
Respect !

The benefits of going to Church as a child.
In all honesty I know my Parents took all of us to Church as a child even though they didn't believe 100% it was what brought people together in the community, and even though my old Man couldn't sing very well that's what we did.
Most families always have one Grandmother or Grandfather who played Piano or something and it was just the ways things were when I grew up.
In the Black community back then it was even more prevelant.
Instead of taking a position on if there is a God or not, it was the gathering that brought joy and freindliness.
I wanted to be the Organist when I was around 4 years old because I couldn't sing to save my life.
By the time I was 15 we stopped going but I started performing with the Brotha's at tent revivals and ourdoor Gospel gatherings because most Black American women sing their ass off, and once you sit in a church full of Sista's and Brotha's singing Gospel, it's just something that moves you, and the entire process is equated to a religous experience.
I am not sure if the churches in Europe are similar as I have never looked into that, but if you ever make it the States, go to a Gospel revival and you will see why it's called a revival.

The Brotha's and Sista's don't have that whole Catholoc Guilty confession thing making their service boring. Southern Baptist churches and other Black religious getherings are full of prayer and joy, and lot's of singing, and it will bring tears to your eyes.

The funeral was just like going to a church service w/o all of the dancing and video.
I watched the Black Entertainment Channels version instead of the generic CNN view because they commented and interviewed people as a real journalist would, not the usual media stenographers.

Yes Jimmy, I think you're spot on !
I felt in love with the keyboards at the age of 7 in a church when I heard a guy playing a string synthesizer ! So much nicer than what I was used to hear on the catholic churches in France.

When I lived in NYC, I used to go to the Gospel Chuches in Harlem on sundays. The first times were very hard for me since I would be crying most of the office !!! :-) It was so emotional !
I remember being smacked by some old woman of the crowd singing an old gospel song while the whole background singers would do the hum, oooh gospel type of accompagnement... Most of the friends I would bring on would have the same reactions at first (even a big "I never cry" biky friend of mine).

Despite the music, what I loved the most was the feeling of community that was prevalent in those (mostly black) churches. I remenber being secretly in love with the preacher's daugther with whom I had a few talks.

The only time I felt something as strong as the gospel was in St Thomas church I believe, where there would be some choral w/ 25 men & 25 boys doing fine pieces of JS BACH.
Catholic church is just plain boring compared to that. Doesn't touch my heart. No emotion, no feeling of joy or beauty in the songs most of the times.

When it comes to music, I really wished I was born in the States Jimmy.

Love,
Joël aka Bifop.

Harlem..............
Jeez I thought I was going to be skinned alive when I was ther in the '70's.
My Sax player was the infamous JD Parran and he left me in an Avant Garde Jazz Bar alone while he was off packing his beak or something. Only because I was with him I was allowed to live....
Churches in Harlem are more understanding and now days Harlem is chic again as it was in the 20's-50's.
Welfare and rampid drug use destroyed that proud community from the 60's -80's.
The whole idea of some guy in Gold robes with the big chefs hat on his head talking about God and evil for an hour isn't my idea of church, that's for sure. My first wedding was boring Catholic wedding, but the restrooms trash cans had dozens of empty pint bottles.
The Baptists of the South and the Gospel churches are where it's at, and IMHO some of the finest jazz and R & B players got their start there, and of course the best Gospel singers too.
I worked with Babs Robinette and Fontella Bass back in the '70's and can never forget that experience.
You know who sings and performs with such style and taste is Alicia Keys..........I liked her music from the radio but when I saw her live at MGM a year ago I was so impressed.

Not the best chops I ever heard on the Wurlitzer or the vocal, but when combined live she was amazing, and of course she is a really beautiful lass too.
Thomas Scarbee and her spent months last year making a VSTi Piano that actually has sostenuto pedalling and from the BETA I heard it is absolutely stunning.

It has the Imperial sound and the pedal down sample are so realistic I will have to be buying it. It will be released from her though not Scarbee of Sweden.

I think I am going to church this weekend now that I think about it.
