Scope 5 will be released within the next 3 months.

There, I just saved unnecessary heartache and freed you lot up for getting some work done elsewhere. Plus when it is released (hopefully in the next few days?) if you follow my prescription above you'll realize pleasant surprise at the release exceeding the expectations I set, rather than relief of consumeristic anxiety (which is where you lot sit now )

For some reason i'm starting to think S|C is the 'duke nukem forever' of the audio industry - Vaporware products perhaps?

Maybe the S|C crew are too busy with crack, hookers and World of Warcraft.

well, at least XITE has turned from vapor to real hardware, and so did Scope5 (for XITE).
there are analogies, of course, but I'm convinced the product would have been on the market long ago if they were founded by Take2 with 12 million $ as well...

Its Just another "Creativity with the Word of -Coming Soon-" Its some kind of Psychological thing what they do now with closing the Website, to have more Time and to say "There is something going on".

But would it be the same if they could benefit from big investment money?!
For me, that would implicitly mean a totally different approach in terms of project structure and constraints: real commercial deadlines, more marketing, more budget/actual restrictions, more big money to try attracting some key-professionals at the start but who can say they would have the "In a mission" state of mind, in which all the S|C team might be for nearly two years...
More but less for us, at the end: no delays allowed to add user requested features, less passion/dedication, more quality compromises (but let's wait it is actually out and tested to be sure of that particular point)...

My 2 cents,
