btw Warp,

I liked the inital GUI or your STW P100 better, but who cares, if the performance's right...

Were you involved in the rebuilding process of the plate for s|c or did they just buy it and made it look like scope 5?

Cheers

Jimmy,

Questions over Questions :D

How's the heat in your rack?
Did you test some higher samplerates like 96k?

Cheers

What is the seconary routing window at the bottom of the screen w/ ASIO, Cramware, NI stuff. I have not seen that before..Cheers...thanx Jimmy

The Plate Reverb sounded good and then I just went direct with it and I can hear the details even better, and it's an excellent Reverb.
I am really excited about more in the future, especially if they sound as warm and wet as this one.
The Inverse is excellent also, I never use one much, but if you can remember the little girls voice in the television set from the movie Poltergeist.........It's spot on.......Mommy..Mommy.
I have played for hours and hours w/ zero troubles.
I knew these guys weren't going to have any bugs. It was worth the wait.
I do know that I miss my synths and mixers and delays though.
But the stock stuff and actually the new V5 Six String sound better, but it could be from not using them for so long.
I really like the Headphone output the most though. It actually sounds like it has a little pre amp as the IEM's can be attached there as well as the analog I/O's.
These Brown skins aren't the prettiest I have ever seen but I have a feeling there's some anti fatiguing science behind it. My eyes would always be a little blurry and cause me to grab my glasses when I would take a break and go to the Internet PC, no fatigue what so ever.
Plus I am an old Cleveland Browns fan so I think I can hang with it.
Would like to see more options for dark stages though.

No and No.

Ralf had the pleasure to rebuild the GUI/controls for the devices - He was not that happy with my organization (it took him a while - I think the chorus was killing him :D ) - the actual DSP part of the devices should be unaltered. The only way I could help out was to include the devices in Scope5.

I just realized that good sounding Plate is the Warp69 Plate......
Now I know why you wouldn't let me buy one......always telling me You got the 91 already, etc. ".....
Your plate is good, is the Inverse a design of yours also? It's awesome to use for Pop Horn tails, as it is similar to a Gated verb but has a spookier tail.

The heat is a non issue...14 1/2 hours of just tryin to overload and crash and not once ever even smelling the chips with my nose above the vents..... :o
I can smell my CPU from a foot away still, but not the ADP's..

I will do some 96k stuff, and am experimenting w/ the 5.1 Klipsch and the new Surround mixer w/ the JL Cooper Panner I bought.
There's plenty to keep me busy until the keys can be transferred.

This is an incredibly fierce Bastard, I thought there was no way I could out do 9x Scope Pro's but it appears as though it can.
I will never need so many instances of reverb, but the synth polyphony questions have been settled finally. There seems to be no end to the poly, the synths run out at 16 voices, so I keep loading more and I can't waste anymore time on that either.
But for my Brotha's I will find time to test other areas.
And the fact that it can use all of the older Hummel, Wolf, BB2, Celmo, SDK and any keyless devices is impressive....
Some 3.1 synths from Hummel do not work, but don't ask me for a list as I have so many of his synths.
I am more interested in learning how to assign DSP's and would like to know why I would need to. I guess some scientific explanation like phasing or sample delay, etc.
I really want to see QWave, WS4-MKII and Solaris. When I see these Beasts loaded up and packed w/ Polyphony I shall shit my Britches.......

Off to the new world of 96k 5.1 Surround.
I think Greg would be a better tester for the scientific stuff, as he can explian why.
I hope he gets his in a few days and others too, so we can start sharing tips.
I am sure you guys would rather have a savvy person reviewing this, and I agree 100%.
Until then my barbaric approach will have to do.

BTW the second window is Bidule, my favorite host for ASIO/VST.
I just matched up the skins by searching through the folder until I saw some brown looking skin suitable for matching.
One thing is certain, the Brown while appearing ugly, is really a very non fatiguimg color scheme. At first I figured it was to look different and be unique, etc.
But I can spend hours on the screens and not need my glasses.
After 2 days of using it now I can say I rather like it.
Besides, on stage I have never needed to change anything except for VDAT, etc.
I must go and see if I can figure out a way to crash this again.
I can crash Bidule and VSTi's no sweat but Scope just won't go down....reminds of fighting with a Hillbilly......you gotta knock 'em out, and then worry about his 200 Kin folk coming back everyday....

Please feel free to compared it to your hardware.

The Plate, Inverse, Ambience and the Chorus are my devices.

I already have compared it and decided I now have free AES/EBU I/O's.
I would love to get a Model 7 now. I can sell the last PCM91/81 combo and actually put some money in the bank. I love using these combined, they're beautiful.
Will we be seeing some SST emulation maybe?..........ankyu.......

Here's another test, and there's no sense doing anymore of these cock measurings, I've seen enough, but Modular guys can rejoice, No Flexor, but regular Modular and everything from Sharc, Shroomz, Roy and Ben can be used. Time to break out the Behringers....

Here's 11 Modulars, I loaded them one after another, then went back and started raising the polyphony up to 8 on each and then to 16, and then I said the hell with this.
It's a waste of time but fun to see the DSP meters hardly move.............. :o
We know now what it's capable of.
Somebody please hurry up and get one so I can start asking questions...

Looking great Jimmy. Chances of me getting one this year are slight, but you never know.

Thanks for all this info - keep it coming.

Who's next? Anyone actually got one ordered?

Yes the BB2 devices should work straight after xite installation.. it would just need to set the "Search Options" of Xite (probably in menu "Set/Search Options") to look all types of modules/preset lists in your old Scope folders (and the C:\Creamware if you have installed the patch).
I guess the rest is more or less the same, ie, osc/filters in the mono effect directories, and other plugins in the "plugin" directory.
But if you are unsure and prefer to keep your xite install tidy, you can just use the file browser, make a "bookmark" to your old Scope folders, and load anything manually from there...
There will be a repack special for xite but.. when i get an xite :-)
For your tests, the big devs are DXD/SDX, LBH Rack-II and LBH Meta, Echo35, LBH-OctoPitch, etc, etc.. Biosc and AnOsc can be heavy with high polyphony......
Have fun !
:-)

SpaceF's Installations for Black Box II work flawless. Effects, mixers, etc..... :D
Celmos stuff...........easy money too.
Sharc and Shroomz Utility Mixers....perfect.
Wolf's Matrix Delay works perfectly as it goes right to the App/Bin folder, but his 16/32 Channel mixers ask for Registration keys, so I ain't messing with that.
I want my SpaceF Mixers..............

O.K. some 96k stuff in Surround 5.1 coming up.
