I'm doing my own tests here tomorrow. Based on what I have read, I will be moving massive amounts of data at an incredible speed which is what I need.

I must have misunderstood you. It seemed early on you were saying don't use RAID.

I said I don't think you NEED Raid, and that there's other ways to accomplish what you're after. Then I gave you a ton of blather about the ups & downs of RAID in general, meandering as our focus meandered. You, however, have been fairly focused on doing RAID 0. So get to it :wink:

Raid is not that great for anything except sitting in a raid box being redundant.
it wont get you much better performance in the real world.

aincient q6600 2GB with raptor 150
join a game
someone with raid balah blah blah i7 joins as player 7..im player 0

set up your machine well and you dont have to worry about that stuff.
