products come and go, knowledge accumulates and replicates.
besides consumption is not that bad. its just the way its being done thats problematic. but you know what? things are crumbling in media land. reality shows are a last fight of survival. media is getting fragmented and granulized faster and faster. the power of knowledge is increasing steadily, and thats kinda how my naive young mind sees it

life extension will NOT be granted to the commoners, believe that. the commoners will provide the resources ansd manpower to make such things possible, but they will never enjoy the fruits of such work, in the same way they have never enjoyed the fruits of their labor.

but besides the joke. this biotech field is also being developed here in IL in the wiezman institute, who keep all their records public (also about stem cell research), we don't have that kind of hierarchy here, and our scientists are raving lefties that will die before they allow it to happen.
but thats not worries me.
what worries me, is what happens when some people will just be here forever! imagine an eternal kenny g, or an eternal and every morphing michael jackson. ewwwww
imagine an eternal george bush running for presidency every other 4 years and winning.
