Jea, do you can describe (if U have the bundle...) to us the features of Vinco DT??? It's a cutted version of original one or what?
Thanks in advance.

Hi again,
Vinco DT appears to me as a cutdown version.
I did not pass any audio thru it, I am building the racks atm, so no speakers connected
But it appears to me that some details is left out, as the "VU" meters is not there, just peakmeters etc.
Back to building ....

Just purchased and installed the DT set. Preamp set up still needs tweaking but the results are already becoming clear: excellent set of soundtools. The Vinco DT is a tiny version of the Vinco. Just two knobs and a button (soft clip)
ONE NEGATIVE (IMHO unforgivable and to be mended asap) Where is the MIDI Control?

I tried the direct FTP link in the email I received after purchasing and like others on here it didn't work for me.
However the generate/download procedure was successful in my case, so if you haven't done so try going to your page on the Creamware site and then on to your downloads section.
Regards
Jonathan

ok I have it, but I'm not smiling yet.
the only speakercabinet that seems to work is the MB: so only if I put the FT JM VX on top off the mesaboogie cabinet I have sound.

Do these amp & speaker cab sim's have full midi control of all parameters or not?

Just read the specs & all parameters should be controllable via midi. Are they then?

No.

That's a pisser. None at all?

No, no midi controls yet, very strange indeed and a major setback. CW promised us that we could 'screw around', if the specs say that there is midi control, they should fix it asap or instruct us how to install it.

BTW: I connected my Behringer GX210 (nice amp for clean sounds, good speakers, but lousy on the effects and distortion). This combo has an insert loop. I run that through the DT's and it screams and rocks like never before.

The mind truely boggles. It clearly states in the 'specifications' sections on the Dynatube website that all parameters are controlable via midi. I like throwing the odd drum channel thru an amp & cab sim & tweaking parameters via midi. For me, this is definately a complete show-stopper if there's really no midi control on Dynatube.

And before anyone says it... I know the original amps & cabs didn't have midi control, but that ain't the point at all.

Before jumping to too many conclusions about MIDI (or lack thereof), check bosone's
thread.

Yup, Bosone is right - the CC assignments show up when the Dynatube is an insert.
