Wow, cool! Really nice device (KickMe). I wasn't ever impresseed with the EDS stuff, so I usually stuck to drum samples. This'll be very useful. But I only have EDS-8i for other drum parts (I've never wanted to tackle drum stuff in Modular). Are you thinking about working on a full drum module a la EDS-16i, only way better? You'd charge, of course.

Thanks a lot!

Creating a new drum module & charging a little money for it isn't a bad idea.

Amen! I'd love a punchy analog drum machine. There simply isn't a good one available for Pulsar. EDS is pretty whimpy.

Or just add a "snare" version and maybe a "metal" version

But I'd still really like it across the full keyboard....

anyone noticed the number of ticks on the dsp usage scale the drummie longs for
bravo adern - uncompromising qualitiy - well I really can't tell, need appropriate monitors first, my tiny Rolands fail on that one

@Shayne: the Wavelenght DrumVox is a considerable drumsynth, but it's (of course)differently positioned

KickMe requires a little less than 1 DSP chip.

About requests. there are long tearm plans for adern, we will not be able to keep up with personal requests for a while.
but dont worry, ill bet our plans will suit you just fine

Peace!

I LOVE this little device. It's exactly the kicks I've been looking for for a long time for my dance tracks. I used to rely on sampled kicks, and the kicks from the library that came with Battery, but often they just wouldn't cut it.
But the kicks from this device - wow! Powerful, fat, slammin'
I'll be using this a lot. Thanks Adern!

And yes, a full-blown drumsynth of this quality would be cool indeed (although probably very heavy on the DSP's)

The Drumvox is good (yes i did try it) but I like the kicks from the kickme better. Although the Drumvox can make more varied kicks, I think the kickme handles a basic kick best (ie. without weird modulations, noise or overdrive). As I said, these were exactly the kicks I'd been looking for

naahhh, my fault - I just used some unfortunate expressions one could misunderstand.
We wanted to bring that back to the topic again.
John, could you please remove the crap, it really spoils the vibe the KickMe creates and truely deserves.

cheers, Tom

I think its ok, it shows that in the end a sense of humor can prevail.

Besides the posts were less nasty than it probably seems now (hah, I was fast enough to read them!), mostly I would consider them rather off the topic of flexor.
