It's a synth designed by someone who is no longer with us (I think?)
R.I.P.He made synth DIY affordable around 2000 or so. He sold cheap cheap PCBs and eventually even cheap panels and even parts kits. The first synth I built was called Mini4CV. I etched my own board and built it from schematics. It had two oscillators with sync, an LFO, and a Mini style filter. He went by Tom G and EFM (electronics for music). All his designs can still be found online, but you will have to build on a proto board or make your own PCB. They were all sort of unique.
