Yes, that looks cool. Simple can be good :D

Just like the UA LA3A, I think it only had 2 knobs.

The hair-do is pretty ratty, probably a week's worth of some high frequency standing (or is it kneeling) waves... wonder what the sub's like, or maybe not.

Behringer says the ADAT in and outs can operate seperately. As long as they have identical word clock.
Does this mean I should use that wordclock i/o on the XITE-1 into the 8200....?

Here's why I want to know.
Have a chance to pick up a new ADA 8200 with the Black Lion Audio op amp mod + capacitor mod for 600 USD>>.. :o

I want the 8 XLR mic pres to go to the XITE-1 via ADAT.
Then ADAT out of the XITE-1 into ADAT in on the 8200, so its 8 x analog outs can become 4 x stereo pairs for IEMs/ FOH/ or stage monitoring.

just the one 8200?
no, you don't need wordclock, although you can use it if you like. ADAT should be sufficient. yes, ins and outs are independent.

Yes a single ADA8200 w/BLA Mods.
The drummer has the X32 w/ ADAT card + another unmodded ADA8200 which I will
take a submix from.
6 other signals are bass direct and 5 mics.

Scope will send ADAT out to X32/IEM then 4 additional stereo mixes
For FOH etc.

I did it before but the band had my x singing and 2 talented prissy fellows and I painfully got by.
This is a band of hard core performers, no drama, no reverb in the monitors.
