I'd love to hear something on it, could you post a link to a little mp3 for us to hear it?

If you can of course... That would be very interesting I guess. And a lower F#, wow, cannot imagine that.
I'm working on it.
Greg
Here's a short raw video of me screwing around on the 'Scorpion' guitar yesterday.

Ah well the current project ...see " The Bopulaters" face book page, is lkely to generate three fifths of five eigths of f..k all as they usually do ,however we live in hope dont we boys

All the guys are great to play with and we're starting to get noticed a little bit which is gratifying . Whats blowing me away at the moment is how young Ivor the guitarist is doing that youthful thing and going through the roof technically and artistically in the blink of an eye . He played so well at the Palm Beach ( Palmy) golf club last weekend that I kept making friggin mistakes cos he was blowing me away . We dont do many covers but there's a Stevie Wonder one with a really tricky turnaround ( aren't they all) and every time Ivor played this figure , trill , warble that sounded so good that I blew every one

. Have you ever slowed Stevies bass lines down Nestor , they're like this fractal thing that keeps opening up to another shorter slur or hammer . His bass lines are just amazing . I copped Boogie on Reggae Woman for fun a little while ago . Jeez ..how many death defying ways can you use a sixth
Anyway when we are on our inaugural world tour I'll at least make sure you're all on the door list with an access all areas laminate

Nasty

Used to do it in the mid nineties to break up a hardcore 3-piece funk set - as a tuba & vocal duo.
Still one of my faves of his. Staunch up-country thumpin'

First of all, thank you to John for this great fix to the page, I’m writing through word, so you don’t have to read my wrong spelling!
One of my first bands, a learning band in fact, was a trio made up of drum, guitar and bass, and we eventually played songs from Stevie Wonder. Great times! But I did not pay attention as you did, to the bass lines, probably because we made of them a jazzy version every time
Skwawks, watch out, we take your words for real! And we want to sit in front of you!

Hey Nestor.....Just back from Japan so I think I'm a bit to rusty to do Reggae woman just now ..give us a couple of weeks to get back in the swing ,although I've got a gig tomorrow ...sheesh

saw some great things over there , the snow monkeys and stuff like that...... very touristy . Went for a stroll on the Kumano Kodo , a little bit of ironic humour there only understandable by people who've walked in the Japanese mountains . We looked for the steepest hills around home to train on , it helped but we dont do steep like they do steep

Well, it's a new year, and I had to take guitar pics for insurance purposes anyways...
so... here's my latest brood...
Over the years I've sold all the Les Paul's, Strats, etc. and gone almost entirely custom.
(note that the Brian Moore, Dean fretless, and Chapman Stick are for sale)
clockwise...
Brian Moore custom DC-1 (with piezo and MIDI)
Bar Rashi / Allan Gittler guitar - 2nd edition circa mid 80's (very rare).
new David Myka custom 'Scorpion' guitar - 8-string guitar/baritone/MIDI
Chapman Stick - 12-string grand w/MIDI
Dean 'Edge' fretless bass
Tim Donohue custom fretless guitar (early prototype)
Kirk Sands custom classical guitar (piezo)

Happy New Year!

Even the Stick has MIDI - cool, was thinking you might be sorry to see that go but then again Scorpion does similar job.
