in fact stardust, i think it's kinda insulting to braincell, making him out to be some victim. with a post like that he goes from forum member to feeble and defenseless. isn't the stalking you're describing something that, say, i don't know....YOU just did in your piece, or usually do, go around and attack that favorite target? a little guilt involved there, maybe...or maybe not.
see, i don't know you, i don't know what you really think and feel, or even what you really look like. like-wise. we only know each other from these pages. we only know con men from their cons, basketball players by their basketball playing, musicians by their music, liars from their lies. the inside is hidden and can't be examined while the creature is alive. it is never existent except those moments, so it cannot be analyzed.
see? i can do it too. the point is, relating to the subject matter(the "Climategate" aquittal), the police here, when they do something like this(not on camera)-
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=kLZWtd-TWFQ -and someone complains, then "internal affairs" investigates the action and without a doubt, if there is no hubbub, finds the officer acted appropriately.

Some people are unclear about the facts of global warming. You can read about the history of the discovery of global climate change here:

oh, NOW i'm convinced that the laws of nature have changed in a way that we should all be taxed by a tax that won't change anything.

A coupla decades ago the hoo haa was all about 'air pollution'. I would have thought emmission reduction would be a just cause with or without 'scientific proof' of warming...pollution itself being enough of a driver for the cause.....
Whether Global Warming is a hoax or not is to me irrelevant - we need cleaner energy anyways so we can ...as the great Pink Floyd once said ' ....breath...breath in the air... dont be afraid to care...' otherwise we'll all be living on the dark side of the earth, warmed or not.

Many of the 'acid rain' indicators in the US have actually improved dramatically, so there has been a lot of progress in reducing "key pollutants" under Federal (US) law. Yet you compare any TV show shot in the 70's during the 'peak' of that issue to today and the amount of air pollution in any major city that's routinely shot is extremely easy to see. So how can "key pollutants" show "dramatic reduction" under federal laws yet overall air quality still get visibly worse? Curious...
Also I should clarify that by pointing out inaccuracies and Reductio ad absurdum approaches to complex issues it does in no way imply that I have some final stance firmly rooted in "belief" on any of these issues. There's no stakes in the ground to defend on my part, though I'm still surprised at how common this is on a 'scientific' issue.

Bush actually believed in Global warming so he used the gigantic ELF arrays to cause Pinatubos eruption as an experiment.
Once we saw how we could hold off global warming for 2 years by man made eruptions, he tried again, but this time he triggered Katrina to accidentally veer off towards New Orleans by accident, so I think we will use Nuclear Devices in African Volcanos and trigger one every few years to stave off the Suns radiation while killing millions which serves another purpose of carbon emission control.
I am nervous though. Climatolgists can't even predict the tempurature accurately day to day, but naturally they can save the future of mankind if they just had a little more money.
Maybe we can give those freaks who want to send 6 billion lenses in space a few trillion, or have thousands of robot ships that create clouds so we can keep our air conditioners and DAW's running.

self hatred is not the solution.
there are no natural shortages.
oil isn't even the problem(although there are often better alternatives).
one thing's certain. there is NOTHING better for life on Earth than CO2. go ahead and try to deny that. to try would be to demonstrate the ultimate ignorance. i don't need a phd to figure that out, any more than i need a phd to see the the sky is or isn't blue or that ice is cold.

Since I am confused about the issues due to the spin from both sides I chose to become more conservative, even though this appears to be a liberal agenda.
It has saved me some money, and the excessive bike riding has definately made me healthier.
I wish the scientists and politicians who promote this agenda would have similar lifestyle changes, but all I see them doing is making more money for bigger SUV's and Private Jets.
While I am using low power SSD's and CPU's and reducing my electrical and carbon footprint, they get larger grants and beachfront property, which according to their data should be underwater from the loss of Ice.
On another note, if they are so concerned about the future generations, they wouldn't be spending the national treasury and print money that our children will be stuck paying for.
Such inconsistencies I find confusing.
But since we know the energy rates will surely climb as the politicians bleed industry for more money, this will passed down to the greedy consumers.
I can handle it, but it is the scam of the century.
The Indians and Chinese aren't buying into this for some reason, maybe they have knowledge we aren't privvy to, other than the poor role models who promote this.
If they would have just car pooled to Copenhagen instead of each having private Limos and Jets it might be more sellable.
I am so happy that after they investigated themselves they found that lying is acceptable. This further seperates the haves from the have nots IMHO.
Glad they all still have great reputations, but they should get into politics since lying and stealing are pre requisites.
