I wish someone would pick up the ball & run with this one...

I see. I don't know what all i did in the past but i did load 12 STS Samplers on XITE awhile back. I'll try again soon. I do have a problem with getting more then 3 voices out of Pro-Wave at 96khz. But have seen improvements with other devices after Platform updates. I also see that all devices can run at 96khz samplerate now (b2003 organ, Six String, etc) so i do know S|C is working hard under the hood.

I do hope S|C allow a third party dev to improve the STS Samplers to for those of us who will use them. The Samplers will never be a main attraction to the platform for S|C to spend too much time with them, but it still would be nice if someone else upgrade them.

b2003 at 96k? i don't think it's supposed to be able to do that. :) heavy oversampling in the filters...i'd think some of the other good synths may show instability at 96k for the same reason, insanely high samplerates for the filter sections...of course, i'm not a technician. i'm just repeating what i seem to remember from way back when...

I just loaded it and used it and it does appear very unstable (far more obvious then before). I was surprised recently to see it and other devices even load and play at 96khz when they could not in the past. Six String appears to work fine so far and it would'nt even load in the past at 96khz aswell. The Plate/room/etc reverbs are all far less problematic at high samplerates now. S|C hAs definitely improved on many devices at 96khz cause with many i'm having no problem or far less problems now. Don't know what all was done but there definitely is a big difference. I'm probably much more tolerant/desparate then most people also, over time i've become use to wrestling with quite a few devices to use them at 96khz since that's my most prefered and needed samplerate.

The effects have much more definition due to the headroom I think.
Since we seem to have excessive DSP and can never get 100% on the meter 96k is a good option once all devices have beem completed.
It was really nice to see Alfonso bravely do this with MoJo..
