I use hardware Arpeggiation. I only use it for superfast up/down chromatic scales or ones I cannot play manually.
For example, remember " Lucky Star " by Madonna.?
I spent a whole day learning that and making a sound on the a TX816 Module and I was such an idiot I didn't know it was an Arpeggiator....
But I need real fast snappy response and soft arpeggiators sound...soft/mushy.
But if I was a Guitarist I would stick w/ a good hardware stomper.
I use note on/off's like a phrase sequencer, and also the ribbon on my Kurzweil for any arpeggiations.
I thought Prodyssey was included w/ the XITE-1...? You should check that out w/ Ralf B.
XOR has an audio input, did you try your Guitar into that..?

That's what I'm asking for - SCOPE-based arpeggiators. Sorry I didn't make that clear.
I don't have a key for the Scope Arpeg-02, and now I'm looking into our 3rd party friends devices.
So, I was just wondering how good the other arpeggiators worked.
The Prodyssey is not included with Xite - already confirmed with Ralf, and checked on the website (boohoo).
I have not yet tried the audio input on Xor.
I have consolidated my hardware stompers down to a Roland VG-99 and older GR-33 (which has a nice arpeggiator function) - but I'd like to build up similar designs in Scope since the GR doesn't send the arpeggiated notes thru external MIDI control, and I'm still getting into the VG for sending out controllers to Scope (as we discussed earlier - I will eventually Skype you on this), so...
Thanks,
Greg

Got mine 23 Sep 2009.
The box included:
1x Scope Xite-1 (feels very sturdy).
1x PCIe card for connecting into PCIe 1x bus. Really small, compare size with the ballpoint.
1x PCIe cable for connecting the Scope Xite-1 to the computer.
4x Adat optical cable
4x Rubber sticker feets and 1x cable fastener.
1x Power adapter + power cable
1x Manual
1x Scope v5.0 software CD
Have fun.

At least it's IEC so you don't have to have stupid adaptors like on the ASB synths. Also means you can power it off an IEC to IEC mains distribution board rather than taking up a normal socket.

Mine arrived Tuesday and has been installed since yesterday afternoon with the activation dialog waiting for a key file. I hope Sonic Core will respond to my registration request e-mails before they close down for the weekend..
I wonder if there is any way for me to get the keys auto-generated by e-mail or something, so that I can start integrating my Xite-1 with my other gear this weekend?

When I send my key request the email responds said it was automatic:
This email is generated automatically to respond to your key request.
It contains SCOPE v5 activation keys for the units/boards you asked for.
Please save the attached file 'keyfile.v5' to any folder or the windows
desktop.
To activate, use the 'Import'-button when the SCOPE registry window appears
and open the file 'keyfile.v5.'

Thanks FrancisHarmany,
Could you kindly post the exact wording of your registration request, the e-mail subject and the e-mail address you wrote to?
Maybe it is a simple format "error" in my e-mail request. Possibly you could hide any personal information with XXX

Thanks again
I replicated what you did exactly - except the smileys.
Also, I pasted the request string into an attached txt file like you. Still, no news from the Sonic Core server.
I hope someone at SC will read e-mails before next Monday

Well if it makes you feel any better Holger has sometimes responded at hours that would be 2 or 3 in the morning GMT.
I know he is more than happy to help.
This is really great having so many guys with XITE-1's.
Surely someone in Europe is going to do live DJ or a live synth gig now. These weapons belong in battle. Not in private studios...
