Maybe two more questions:
  • did you do your own demo parts for Xor?
  • Is it possible to get both discounts but only for Xor?
PS : Sorry but as an occasional compulsive consumerist, I find myself trying to get better prices, even if the deal looks fair to me at first sight...
1) yes
2) for the price of 64 new awesome presets :P

Meaning a 99 € price, as I already have F3... OK. Worth it then!

I must say I like Xor very much. The modulation system is clever, and effective. The 12 dB has a lot of character, and the morph / sync / block oscillators are really fresh. The presets tend to go for BIG effect, but the synth is also really nice for smaller variation modulations with grit.

i know its fair :P however the offer is on the table: 64 good varied presets for xor will give you the flexor3 double discount for xor ;)

this way everybody wins :)

And I'll do my best to make that "Future Folk" a goa track
(I love this particular demo track).
That seems like a good challenge, don't you think?!

Ceci étant, respects to both of you for these new devices/demos.
Hope your coming to the VSTi world is doing well and that you manage the C/C++ standard with ease.

c++ is fun but we are now deep into assembly ...

Argg, you named it!
You do inclusion of assembly lines in your C++ Code ?

So what do you think about the x86 structure?
Do you find you tracks in there, compared to the S|C DSP world?

Freaks that you are ( it doesn't look like but it is a compliment :P )

So that mean you're in a deep search for audio repro.
I can't even imagine what sort of personal adaptations you're making to FFTs but I guess doing it in assembler (closest machine language before binary for those who would ask ) would be a "whole life" challenge to me!
I hope you're at least enjoying it!

i tried the demo and mojo has definitely another tone and character with respect to dynatube. good one, indeed... but as for now it's not "my" tone or something that i would use in my music.
i had preferred an insane high-gain amp for metal, to have an alternative to the dynatube mesa emulation! :D

Have you tried stacking them on top of each other?

IRL high gain amps are mostly just amps with more gain stages feeding each other.

by next to nothing
Hopefully my Xor will arrive today, so i can get nasty during the weekend... Been trying the demo and it has a very refreshing sound.

Mucho grasias greenbluegold :) would love some examples for your new sounds with xor :) always looking to widen my arsenal of sounds...

1)yes
2)it works
3)yes
4)no - fft optimization is not my forte. we will lisence one. the question is what do we do with this fft :P and you know the answer - tones of kewl modules.

just tried it, you need to chain them together with the amp out and it sounds delicious! alfonso rox :>

I couldn't find an audio switch I liked but I did find a great little Hummel DJ Mixer that works really well.
The chain below has these options.
Everything shares the CC8 and the same MIDI Channel.
There's 5 faders of the CC8 that are attached to 5 drawbars on the B2003, which are controlled by an expression pedal.
The other 3 drawbars are attached to the 2 drive knobs on MoJo, and 1 for Gain.
Into the Hummel DJ Mixer are 4 sends, a Stereo Rhodes and Stereo Guitar.
I have a preset that is just the B2003, the second and third presets turn the B2003 into a Leslie for the Rhodes and Guitar.
Thr Rhodes gets a low drive clean amp sound, and has the Leslie's 2 outputs for a total of 4 channels w/ a rotary cabinet.
The Guitar is preset 3 which gets the same 4 channels, but using the CC8, my expression pedal can take the Guitar sound from a nice sounding backing Guitar, and then depressing the expression pedal cranks up the drive and sounds fantastic.
I have to prepare for the 1 MIDI I/O of the XITE-1. I have used 48 channels for a long time and now have to create work arounds.
But having 3 instruments on the same MIDI Channel w/ a MoJo powered audio switcher is a life saver.
I could never go back to an all hardware rig or VST based rig. Without these kinds of routing options I would be unarmed.

Unfortunately the Mixmaster does not remember assigned MIDI CCs.

True,
And the same goes for the B2003.
SpaceF Mixers amd his CC devices are never a problem thankfully.
For each project I have to use a Notepad for remembering what CC's need to be re activated, a minor inconvenience I hope the programmers @ SC have fixed. I just twist the assigned controllers on the KS88 and usually when right clicking on GUI MIDI controller, the numbers are still visible, just clicking the add + usually is enough.
It's great that the Drawbar CC's are remembered, but the percussion on/off switch...nope. But the knob for it's amount does.... These things will drive a new guy nuts, but I am now used to such things.
BTW the MIDI Out on the MoJo doesn't have the pass thru of information unless a mouse is used. I asked Alfonso about this and it is a way to avoid the doubling of MIDI data, so the jpeg I used was for eyeball ease to show other routings more easily.
In real use I have to connect the mixer and B2003 directly from the merger and MIDI A Source modules.
The results are worth it.
My live mixing routing windows when using IEM's and running a live band are insane looking, but still effective. Thankfully I won't have to be doing that for a while. Just take of my synths & keys.
