here it goes again
Re: here it goes again
every multicultural war has it`s leaders and it`s owners. If they dind`t want to fight, the war dindn`t exist. But it exists for more than 60 years now and it will last forever reagardless of the side you`re living on. Simply because peopel of both sides want it and need it either for financial proposals or for honor and benefit.

no, the people don't WANT it.
they've been conditioned to think it's inevitable.

Hi Red, hope you're keeping well
I have little knowledge of such a complex problem - it is interesting to read your posts - I've only read the stories on BBC News, but the BBC view sometimes is not as impartial as it should be.
I was surprised looking at Google Earth how small the Gaza Strip is but it does look densely populated on the satellite images (which are a bit grainy). It's odd they don't show detailed street maps though.

Take a look at Saudi Arabia (amongst others) on google earth & you'll realize that there's a question mark looming over the 'transparency' (pardon the pun) of some countries. In fact many countries in the middle east have potential transparency issues when it comes to their weapons arsenal.
Re: here it goes again
Most people don't want war but it just takes a few people to stir up trouble; some young fighters and some older men giving the orders. People should just refuse to fight and there would be no wars. Technology makes it easier and more tempting because you can just push a button and kill a bunch of people and not even have to see them die. What ever the justification, it's still murder to me.
Re: here it goes again
this is not about palis and israelis imo. this is about fundamentalism.

its not about what THE people want. its about what SOME people want.
im not sure if running away is any kind of answer. as we have seen how welcome we are in other countries. its not like anyone here has some place to go.

children need guidance indeed, but who is to decide on the nature of that guidance if not the misguided parents?

Re: here it goes again
oh yeah, let`s make a candle-lit demonstration from china to usa. And afterwards watching the news with the new missile and bomb attacks. That will certainly make an influence in 60 years of war and people supporting it.

Zer, common sense hasn't come into the equation for thousands of years.
Re: here it goes again
nop but its in the same spirit of the english site - thinking of alternative non violent ways to resolve the conflict. signing the guest book is just as helpful imo. perhaps ask for an english version there. i did that as well.Shroomz~> wrote:Is there a version that's written in English that I can read & sign?ReD_MuZe wrote:or you can sign here:

actually, the present conflict is only something like 75 years old. before then, Jews and Arabs in the middle east lived very comfortably together for hundreds of years, at least since Roman times. they both share similar beliefs and customs and a common backround. all the current disagreements are modern.
Re: here it goes again
The 'present' conflict is indeed recent. The ongoing conflict goes back a LONG way... thousands of years.
Re: here it goes again
present conflict on past issues.
Re: here it goes again
i really hope i don't offend anyone....
there have been conflicts, true, but no more than between picts and scots or any other people on the face of the earth.
people are NOT fighting ancient battles there, that's what has been told to the public, but it's a distortion.
of the Jews, as One of the Israelite tribes, they had beef with the many powers in the middle east, but Arabs(a different people than say, Persians or Syrians, though they are all lumped into one catagory) are a branch of the Abrahamic family who were never really in serious conflict with Jews as Arabs were a strictly nomadic group of people before Mohammed. after Islam became the official Persian and Turkish court religion, Arabs found themselves integrated into other cultures(like Persian, Syrian, Phoenecian, Egyptian and others).
it's really funny that the Jews who really talk up the "ancient" conflict, are eastern European(from the Caucasus mountians, caucasian) "Ashkenazi" or "Chazari" jews. these guys AREN'T even Hebrew, they are mostly Russian.
when most people think of "israelites", they interchange the word, "jews". "jew" comes from Judah, the name of one of the sons of the man named Israel. Israel's property was divided among his twelve sons. here you see the jewish. they are not of Judah's flesh, but are of another's, yet they carry on in the fashion of Judeans, so they are called "jewish". the -ish means "like", they are jew-like.
there ARE Judeans in Israel, but there are also, others. if this simple idea is unclear, it can be no surprise that the rest of the conflict is also unclear.

...and The Mossad formed Hamas...garyb wrote:no, Israeli intelligence and military, while very competitive with Great Britain and the US, are still working more or less in concert with GB and the US. remember, it was the British and many non-jewish Zionists who made Israel as we know it today. as always, it is only the little guys on both sides who NEVER wanted to fight, who will suffer and die over this.

Since there are so many historic twists and turns in this whole situation, it's hard to tell who's doing what for which (real) reason.
Very sad,

Re: here it goes again
garyb ur not offending, just misinformed.
nobody is saying we are fighting an ancient war.
we are fighting a new war on an ancient land.
besides, what difference does it make, its stupid this way or another.
greg, your maps only show empires, not anything related to the current war.
this is more about the bible vs the koran.
