It's about reorganizing resources.
I have used it and I think I stopped getting PCI overflow pop ups.
How do you set doubledawg on your DAW voidar ?

I give all my DSP cards the full benefit, uping the latency from 096 to 248.
I think DoubleDawg is free. If you want the Boot-o-matic feauture you need to pay.

i dont seem to understand what pci latency is.... increasing or lowering the value in doubledawg will do what??? what is the catch? what is the advantage?..

It's the amount of time during CPU-cycles a particular PCI-device gets attention.
More time equals more attention.
More for one device means less for a different one. But if audio is what you want to do at a given time then this is what you want.
It's not permanent in any way. You will need to run the program at every reboot.
