The problem I have with that, is that even a high tech CNC machine (which is certainly what would've been used) is gonna struggle to cut all that MDF at 138,240 different height's. It started as 8'x4' sheets or maybe 10'x4', but either way, the sheet distance from the wall is only 1220mm MAX. If you divide 1220mm by 138,240 you get 0.00868mm, which means the difference in height between each block would have to be less than 9/1000. I really didn't know CNC machines could be that accurate.
Do those numbers are anyway related with wave front lenghts?
