I did not ask to stop the offer on planetz but to show also the gratitude to Laurent and his great work since 5 years for the creamware community

Have you idea of how many national forums could exist all over the world devoted to Creamware stuff?
If CWA does it for PlanetZ, it is because PlanetZ has become the official users forum "worldwide". Here is coming everybody from all the globe, and CWA thought well to contribute to a service that is the widest and the most useful to everyone.
It's absurd to pretend that every users forum in every single country on the world should be given money from CWA.
PlanetZ is a reference for the world, I know of people that were not owners of CWA stuff that came here just for for the PC optimization threads or to download the music, amazed for the quality of the forums and the unique atmosphere, and they became customers thanks to this place.
The french site can be very nice really, I can't say anything though because like the great majority of CWA customers I don't speak french, but it's not the official users forum, nor it's more important than other national ones.

I don't remember what the M&M package contains. And, wouldn't I get most of it by just upgrading to 4.5?

alfonso !
I agree with you - official words from cw came on planetz - this is the reason why I'm speaking here about it : cw will read it and will do something or not.
not everybody from all the globe speaks english
Its not absurdity but justice if you had any idea of the value of the french forum.
The most important thing that you are saying is :
... I can't say anything though because like the great majority of CWA customers I don't speak french ...
and this should clarify all your other saying s : you are often right when speaking about planetz, but your conclusions concerning maomusique are the result of ignorance.

Gustav, you COMPLETELY misunderstood me (a good reason for separate language forums)
When i said "0.02 cents", I meant 'that's my 0.02 cents', which means 'that's my opinion'.
I was saying, that I believe you are correct.
French people in general, do not *need* to speak English, as they communicate with one-another in French. If French people *choose* to speak English, then the English speaking world is honoured by your presence & as I said (in another fashion), I support your idea & believe it would be a very nice 'festive' gesture if Creamware were to make a proportionate donation to MaoMusique.
Sorry again for my bad French & again, this is just my opinion (to which we are all entitled, I'm led to believe)

Sorry Shroomz - I did not get it !
The "0.02 cents" was too bad in my eyes.
I got angry - its true - and now I ask you to forgive the clown and the dog.

I was *just* about to step in to tell you guys to chill out- relax- stop overreacting, etc. But then, you all sorted yourselves out

In other forums, I've see this kind of thing turn into an all-out flame war and shouting match.
The fact is that planetz is an international planet, with many languages and cultures colliding in the inelegant medium of english-text. Even two native-english-speakers trying to communicate with text-only can have huge misunderstandings. It's amazing that planetz works at all, but it *does* work - and I thank you all for it - you guys are great
Cheers,
-John

In other news, Ali emailed me to say that CW Germany will be going on vacation between Dec 23 and Jan 3. They are the ones that generate license keys, so keep that in mind if you're thinking of getting a plugin here and want to use it before Jan 3!
To those of you that have made donations so far- thanks so much for your support! Your information has been mailed off to Ali, who will forward to Germany, so you should be getting your keys soon.
Cheers,
-John

I know you are joking, voidar, aren't you? No? So I'll explain it once more (though Ali described it in this very thread...): the 4.5 upgrade offer with all the MnM and SnS packages free is only available for Pulsar II users. So from thtis offer (the PlanetZ offer) is good fo peolpe using Lunas or Pulsars 1.

No problem, you were forgiven the very instant I realised you had misunderstood

It's not in the spirit to start flame wars on Z

(not all the time anyway)

Creamware head office is working on similar idea for the French forum.
Wolf Roth(MD) assured me this morning that there will be a similar idea in support of the French Forum.
now please let not forget what this donation offer is all about.
If you got everything offered then you can still donate to this great forum.

I know it seems the Mao thing is a bit after the fact, but I'll tell ya after reading Laurent's post on his forum I can tell you his attitude leaves something to be desired.
Laurent, c'est quoi ton truc de dire que les français pue de la gueule? T'aurais pu écrire gentiment ton mécontentement à Creamware, non? Sounds like you whining is paying off to me so you might consider an apology on that thread of yours, eh?

Parce que les expressions françaises sont françaises, c'est de l'humour.
Et j'ai l'humour à la Delicatessen.
Bref.

I warned you about the grumpiness of these blokes !!
They remind me why when I travel I always avoid groups of French, pretending I'm from somewhere else....
