Ok,
After reading thru this thread again, $36.00 USD is like a fine lunch, so yes I cant complain about the upgrade price point, I retract my price woes, maybe I was reading the 145EU part or what ever, its been a while since I browsed this thread.
While I am excited to see what V2 has to offer, im more excited about the stand alones, for me modular is not big yet since I have no clue what I am doing as of yet, still trying to learn the thing, so yes flexor is a great addition, it doesnt add much to me yet since I have no idea how to taps its power =)
On a side note, I would like to thank you Red_Muze for your participation in creating new and excting devices that help keep this platform strong, that aswell goes for all 3rd parties
Cheers!

I was in the same boat for a while too. While I don't think I'm a "power patcher" or anything, after building a few I'm way more comfortable with it. The hardest thing I've came up against is thinking outside the box & not building a garden variety, everyday synth. On 2004-04-11 10:05, Basic Pitch wrote:

I guess what I'm saying is go through the ModII tutorials, after that, read up on the ModIII devices, then build your own synth or effect. After building 2 or 3 you'll be coming up with some crazy ideas. Thats the fun of the modular! More & more, ModIII is taking over my projects(in a good way)!
PS Try having a synth similar to the one your building loaded up while your patching. Also, keep the manual open too!
I go to this chatroom and nobody is ever chatting about anything. Currently there are 24 people (or bots?) and all of them are idle and this is the norm for this room.

if youd like to know more about modular synthesys you can always join #pulsarmusic in mirc (efnet) there are always top notch patchers in there, and some of the top patchers have learned to patch in pulsarmusic

nah, it is all conspiracy
we idle only when Braincell is in the channel, otherwise we are chattin' happily, like now
seriously tho, your issues with reloading sound serious, BC.
how come you never mentioned it to anyone @Adern?

just because you cannot imagine something that doesn't exclude it from reality.

I'm sure there will be more patches, there are always user & VIP patches too!
Also braincell, one thing about irc is people usually connect and then when not talking minimize mirc (or whatever client) and go on about their business, ESPECIALLY in #pulsarmusic. Sometimes there is hours of nonstop talk, sometimes no talk for 3 days. Just how IRC is.
As for your flexor loading issues, are you saving over the original patch?

I have a question, Red Muze. I have heard 'factoids' to the effect that Minimax and the higher end Creamware synths are running internally at 96khz and that is what gives them the quality of sound. I have tried running my card at 96khz and find that (1) the included synths, especially Prisma and Vectron Player, suddenly sound very clear and free of aliasing, and (2) I can't run anything else at the same time because it takes too much processing power. Is there any way to make a module run internally at 96khz, or at least higher than 48khz?On 2004-04-12 10:20, ReD_MuZe wrote:
im sorry braincell i wasnt aware of your problem please contact me (through email or #pulsarmusic) and ill help you fix that
peace!
I agree the price is low which is great.
Some people have mentioned that it is a little early for a new release which caused a torrent of rage and a personal attack from some other people.
Many of these angry people got Flexor for free so they have no place getting upset over comments regarding the price or frequency of the releases.

Now I've seen it all. Complaints about a ridiculously low priced upgrade to an already awesome piece of software. LOL
