First of all...congratulations to the winner.

Second...Robert McCall was 'THE EQUALIZER', a cult TV show in the UK during the late 80s.

Obscure yes, but glad to see I'm not the only wacked out bloke in here, as good old siberiansun had the same idea too, hehe. Good on ya mate

Anyways, look forward to trying out the ISON EQ when it comes out. And thanks to Onomat for creating what looks to be a most useful device.

Eh? That was Edward Woodward wasn't it?

Unless...it's the name of the character he played..?

He was 'ard as nails in that series - he came first in Channel 4's "Top 100 Hardest TV Men" programme.

I have the strange feeling onomat will take sam's pic as an inspiration for his next user interface design
Question:
could that eq be misused to create an RIAA correction curve for vinyl frequency adjustment ?
possibly provided as a preset ?

cheers, Tom

That would be a multiprocessor - you can squash it at the same time

The ISON has 1 more band of eq, each band has 24dB gain, the high and low pass filters are twice as powerful (up to 48dB per ocatave compared to 24dB). It has the same eq shapes and characteristics, it is fully decrampep like the sony oxford, bigger graphic display, twice as many display ranges, ghost curves for each band, faders as well as knobs, live input with no latency, it'll be much cheaper, link controls for massive filter sweep...need i go on?

It is only now, that I see the nice extra feature on the graphics. I can se BOTH the summed result of the different equalisations AND the result of the individual equalisations. If this is anywhere near acurate, then it is a realy nice feature.
