Great. Another synth.

Not that I'm disappointed. Great work. (again!) But I don't suppose Creamware could provide some bread 'n butter with those greasies?

I mean, it's the only synth/sound card that doesn't have a PIANO or RHODES right?

...Maybe that's why they're not in a hurry to make one... although it would be nice to have a cw qualité piano emulation...

Maybe spiderman has a prediction about the CW piano

I concur in saying that Prodissey "fills the gap between Minimax and ProOne. In my opinion, Prodissey is more powerful than pro-one, but the pro one is still my preffered for that particular resonance and some "Nord Lead"-like sounds....
Best regards

A EP would be fine with me,
but I would die for a good CS (cs 40m ?) string machine (not necessarily the biggest ones). but with a good vibrato.
As said Mr Arkadin, it's not a bad idea to ask Billy Currie to test it first  .... "Billy Currie approved", I'm sure that it will be a reference, even for more famous musicians....
All the best

EDITED : I mentionned cs40m, but cs80 is a better choice....

To Mr.Arkadin for his constant complaining about the duophonic mode. Again, if we had to emulate the duophonic thing, it would have ment to go back to a monophonic structure. And no, the single switch cannot handle this because each oscillator needs to be supplied with it's own frequency information in duophonic mode. If we had done that, means gone back to a monophonic structure, I bet we had the bigger part of the forum against us complaining about the lack of polyphony. And simply because it has one missing feature - as explained it has a reason - Prodyssey is not a bad synth, as you are trying to tell us here!

Lack of polyphony would have annoyed the hell out of me.

Is the real issue that Planet Z people wish they had more input into Creamware choices?

we don't sit in front of a developement system with a look at the synth's structure, so I found this question perfectly OK

Some impressions from a person who had played the original and the VSTI is much appreciated, as is your explaining why that mode had to be left out.
I was curious about the same item and I share Mr. Arkardin's opinion about those instruments - are we old-fashioned ?

I have to admit that I'm a little hooked to the original Odyssey, because in my schooldays I couldn't afford it, but had to pass one in the showcase of a music store every day
cheers, Tom

Not in detail, but I think it's no secret that we are working on bringing more synths to Noah.

i think that, in order to let the noah become the most interesting piece of hardware ever, you should port to it modular3+flexor and, maybe, a new STS sampler, so that there will be a good reason to finally update also the STS series for SFP!!!

i remember i read that sampling is not possible with noah, but i'm sure that CW has such good programmers that will surely
find a way to transform noah in a good samlper and even connect an hard disk for strage to it!

when pulsar 1 was introduced to the market, no one could think that on that board a 1:1 reproduction of minimoog, odyssey, pro5 was possible, nervertheless now they're here!

Sampling as Bosone wants it won't be possible with Noah. The limitation is not in the software, it's in the hardware. But soon the full editable version of Vectron will be available on Noah and then you can upload your own wavetables to it! Might be even cooler than sampling, you can do a lot of new stuff with it.

Best, Matthias.

FAO Decimator...

In case you weren't already aware, Arturia are releasing a CS80 plug-in tomorrow and G-Media are releasing an OSCar on the 5th.

No it is me, SpaceF who asked for the CS 80
I am not decimator

I'll try the vstis certainly (i can't miss them), but well, generally SFP synth have a fatter sound.

Thanks for the info.

Ahh. What would be cool is an improved updated sampler for us STS 2k 3k 4k & 5k owners

Let those Noah dewds play with their Prodysseys for a while

Wouldn't it be nice if there would come plugin's of acoustic instruments, like Piano's, Brass etc.
