So am I !
About 3 months ago my DAW died for no apparent reason (nothing too suprising considering it's 5 yrs old)
Apon inspection I find that I have a rodent problem and not the electronic kind.
A F**king mouse had setup shop In my pc, shitting all over my motherbord !
It never accured to me that leaving a drive bay off would pose that danger,oh well live and learn.
fearing the worst: that my CW cards had gone down with the ship I eagerly order a new Intel/e6700/2gigRam setup on credit.
The saga continues.. by the time my credit is completed, 2 wk after the apocalypse the intel mother board is out of stock...
a month goes by...
Finally get a large brown box deliverd but once the components are assembled and the power button is pressed all my 3k DAW can do is emmit 3 long beeps from the motherboard the beep code by the way means no memory detected
Sent back to shop for testing
2 wks go by....
Recieved back with a replacement motherboard, once assembled the same problem
sent back again
2wk goes by
They tell me the memory was faulty (why was this not checked the first time fools)
and that the memory is now out of stock aaaahhhggggg
Should have arrived today total 3 months
Anyway alI I can do is comfort myself with the fact that without Fexor 3 it would be useless anyway
I think that when the moon is in allignment and flexor is ready my Daw will come home too in perfect sync.Being longtime CW owner we all well versed in the art of patience. But this is pushing my threshold.
rant over
looking foward to a thriving flexor3 community forming.
Best

Hahahaha @ cat..!
CopyRightJustice.. when I was building my computer, I had to send back items twice and wait about a month before I had all working components. One time the case was severely dented (looked like it fell and hit something hard). Then the memory was faulty like yours.. and then when they sent back those proper things, the power supply died in a puff of smoke.. so I just threw the PS away and bought a new one at a small local computer shop - better than waiting another week or two!
The next computer I built for a buddy, only from local computer shop components, and I had a working system the next day. You can always expect some components to be faulty.
Scary story about the mouse.. I once saw a mouse go into the port of my subwoofer !! Makes me wonder.

Its always good to have two or 3 systems at home, once a component is failing, you can check out yourself which one...
The computer experts at most shops in many cases are ... *** id**ts.
I always build my systems on my own. The best and mostly the cheapest way. You always get what you pay for.
A cat in a PC-case.
For a cat on your scope card ask shroomz. He is the expert in these cases.

Red forwarded me a list of samples due for being added to the website. I figured that since people have asked for some samples to tide them over to the release day I'd post them up here as well (forgive me if any have already been posted, this is the full list):
- FleXor DoubleCheby - a sine fed to a two cheby shapers modulated with a granular sequencer.
FleXor FleXong - wavetable oscillators sequenced to say flexor, last sound is a vocal filter with flexor MSE envelope sets.
FleXor FullOn - A combinatin of shapers and filters controled by several Pattern LFO's - ever evolving.
FleXor granular live - A granular manipulation done live on drums using key triggers for diferent granular effects and a foot pedal to control the pitch.
FleXor hplpf3 - Filter sweeps of the new flexor 3 filters - LP3 Rubber and HP8 Razor
FleXor HPxtreme - HP8 Razor - one of the most agressive and steep highpass filters available! watch out for your tweeters!
FleXor Masivo - a short preset sweep of Masivo - a patch with 5 Double Square FR oscillators going through a Swiss Multimode Filter.
FleXor MultibandRompler - Flexor multiband spliting the audio into three sections which are fed with diferent samples. a very effective synthesis method!
FleXor Mutation - an assortment of fx including Granular, and FM
FleXor pads - an assorment of flexor3 subtractive pads
FleXor Shaper Madness - Saw - Tri through the new Squash shaper
FleXor TB - A tb emulation featuring flexor saw and LP3 rubber.
