Hail Scopians!
A great day has comed.. when the mighty scope knight undress the hypocrites who does not believe in a high count of verbs of the master in a 1 gen card!!
By this proof i consider my self redeemed!

Hey,
Dont know.. but it has 15 dsp chips. I have connected it with 2 stdm connections to the pulsar2. And its running on an AMD AM2+ system.
Does there exist such thing as 15 dsp 2.gen?
I can atleast load the minimax with 16 voices

sure it does, I have one myself - dunno when they started to leave that chip out.
It doesn't matter anyway, as load distribution is way more important that theoretically use up the processor.
Mind you that single chip more or less is at best a 7% difference in calculation power.
cheers, Tom

Well, then i consider my self a lucky man

.
I had to do a "case mod" to get the card to fit.. its a long board!
I can load 3 SC-Plate which is way more then i ever need. And i will probably be using maybe modular mostly when it comes to dsp power, since i have a Noah EX which does the job with the Analouge emulations!
looking forward to be able to afford a Xite

Would that be the one you lucked up on?

same here - the offer looked almost too good to be true...
every plugin ever released (up to a certain point in time) licensed to the card.
If cash and local pickup had been excluded, I'd never trust that deal.
After all it turned out to be the demonstration card of a large shop ... everything ok
cheers, Tom

3 Scope PCI Professional Cards
Gigabyte GA-770TA-UD3 with an AMD Phenom II X6 1090T Black Edition 3.2GHz
28 MasterVerbs
When I tried to load 29 Scope prompted me to restructure in order to be able to do it. I clicked Yes. It was processing (or it hit the wall) and after it didn't respond for 10 minutes or so, I quit out.

I could probably push it even further if I wanted to. I do many of the well known tweaks and I turn off some of the Windows services as mentioned in other threads here, but I don't disable the Windows 7 Aero Theme. I actually really like it. So if I turned Aero off maybe I could load one more MasterVerb. Who knows maybe I could even make it an even 30 MasterVerbs.

i don't think those things affect the masterverb test that much.
did you try to run sound through one or more of those verbs?

OK I tried playing a Minimax through a bunch of MasterVerbs at once. I was able to play 11 voices on a Minimax into 13 MasterVerbs all at once (although it was a bit unstable and required a few retries after DSP overload prompts).
I just couldn’t load 14 Masterverbs, even with only one Minimax voice. I kept selecting retry when I got to the DSP overload prompt, but that prompt just kept coming up so it was clear it was time to stop trying.
I found that a Minimax with 6 voices, played into 13 MasterVerbs was very stable. I could save the project and load it back up again.

OK here is the final result of the MasterVerb test for my motherboard. It will load 14 MasterVerbs and process sound through them. 15 of course gives me the PCI overload message and I loose audio.
I thought this might be helpful for those considering this board since it is reliable for Scope and has the magic number of PCI slots for 3 Scope cards with good spacing away from the graphics card. They show up from time to time on eBay and are usually very reasonable.
