I know the Analog Devices SHARC chip is causing a huge stir in the pro audio world. The latest Euphonix digital console uses a whole rack full. This console is so amazing. My school had a demo by the euphonix people & we were all blown away. Peter Jackson's post facility owns one down in New Zealand. As for Digidesign, I'm sure they don't give a care about Creamware. The "pro-sumer" dsp cards have doubtfully affected their sales. Most of their users are completely satisfied with the performance & sound quality(as they should be, it's very good). I think that TDM plugins are over priced. Creamware & it's third party developers make plugins as good, if not better than most TDMs. The TDM Virus sux!

I can confirm that "TDM on SFP" is news to me as well. Motorola and SHARC will remain different worlds for the time being.

Fairlight: phoenix-like, they're coming back up again these days. Surely some good news for the whole industry.

Like a bloody Yo-yo that mob. Oh well, good to see them back... again!

Thanks for taking the time out and posting about Creamware's status too.
